NEW KYMCO AK550 TO BE LAUNCHED
China – KYMCO applied for the CCC certification for several models at the beginning of this year, among which the model CK600S-10 is the AK500 launched at the Milan show last year. After obtaining the CCC qualification in China, this model is expected to be put on the market soon.
KYMCO has made comprehensive improvement on this big scooter, from hardware to software. Although the exterior of the scooter has not changed much and it is still a big sports scooter, but there are many changes in details.
The new AK550 is actually more dynamic, and the appearance adopts the officially-called multi-layer floating panel design. The headlight, with additional LED daytime running light bar, has an interior black decorative board, presenting a layered and advanced front look.
KYMCO also optimized its electric control, with upgraded ABS and TCS tracking control for curves, greatly improving riding safety. Inspired by piano keys, the new AK 550’s console features a classic modeling and has intuitive function keys. In addition, AK550 has two new electronic control systems–electronic throttle and cruise control. The electronic throttle will bring more accurate throttle control, and the cruise control is undoubtedly a good attraction for long-distance riders.
