According to customs statistics, China’s exported 9.4417 million motorcycles from January to November 2022, and the export quantity was about 11 million in 2022. The export quantity of China’s motorcycle exceeded 10 million for two consecutive years (11.93 million in 2021). China’s motorcycle industry achieves the current achievements by every effort, because it is faced with the complicated situation such as the changeable exchange rate, decreasing overseas demand, which reflects the adaptability of China’s motorcycle enterprises and the resilience and development prospect of the motorcycle industry’s exports.

Ⅱ. Motorcyclists went against the fire for the emergency rescue, which aroused widespread social concern

In the Chongqing mountain fire and Guangxi Tengxian crash rescue, motorcycles played an important role in complex terrain. Ⅳ. The transformation and upgrading of motorcycles & the popularity of recreational motorcycles

In 2022, the production and sales of the large-displacement recreational motorcycles (displacement of over 250CC) in China will be about 600,000, a year-on-year increase of more than 50% against the trend, and the sales of motorcycle recorders, helmets, and clothing have increased exponentially. The recreational motorcycles market has played an important role in the sustainable development of China’s motorcycle industry. The developmental progress of the recreational motorcycles is reported by People’s Daily, CCTV and other major media. In addition, China’s large-displacement motorcycles have achieved outstanding results in the design of the appearance, D&R, and brand building, and have been recognized by young consumers, which takes up about 80% of China’s  large-displacement motorcycles market share has increased year by year in 2022.

Ⅴ. “Replacing prohibition with management” has gradually become the consensus of urban governance, and there is a good ecological environment of motorcycles

Urban ban on motorcycles have plagued motorcycle industry and consumers. In 2022, some city managers gradually have changed the one-sided views on motorcycles and adopt scientific management methods to give full play to the motorcycles in urban traffic. For example, Hohhot has reduced the restricted areas for motorcycles. Fuzhou has allowed takeaway motorcycles in urban areas. Shijingshan District of Beijing has set up special motorcycle lanes. Xiamen has planned 893 waiting areas for motorcycle. These measures reflect the changes and improvement of urban motorcycle management. The scientific, legal and modern method will become the mainstream of urban management, while the traditional management method will be abandoned.

Ⅵ.“Issuance of underwriting practice for electric motorcycles (Trial)”was released& The compulsory insurance of three gear electric motorcycle and the implementation rate of commercial insurance shall be consistent with the corresponding displacement gear of fuel motorcycle.

“Issuance of underwriting practice for electric motorcycles (Trial) states that electric motorcycles refer to two- or three-wheeled vehicles driven by electricity that travel within the territory of the People’s Republic of China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan).

Electric motorcycles include electric mopeds and electric motorcycles (excluding electric bicycles). The second is to further unify the standard of premium rates paid by consumers. At present, electric motorcycles are divided into three gears according to power and maximum design speed. Respectively, the power is not greater than 4KW and the maximum design speed shall not be greater than 50 km/hours ; The power is greater than 4KW and less than 8KW（contain 8KW or the maximum design speed is greater than 50 km/hours; The power is over 8KW and electric tricycle. And the compulsory insurance of three gear electric motorcycle and the implementation rate of commercial insurance shall be consistent with the corresponding displacement gear of fuel motorcycle.
