The 21st China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition, referred to CIMAMotor 2023, is scheduled to take place from September 15 to 18, 2023, at the Chongqing International Expo Center, China. This event is co-organized by China Chamber of International Commerce Chongqing Chamber of Commerce, the China Chamber of Commerce for Motorcycle, and Chongqing Exhibition Center Co., Ltd.

As the only state-level motorcycle exhibition in China, CIMAMotor has become one of the largest exhibitions in China and even globally after 20 years of development. It is an important platform for launching new products and technologies, leading the development trends of the motorcycle industry.

Under the theme of “Leading the Development of the Industry, Creating a Better Future”, CIMAMotor champions the development direction of electric, intelligent and connected vehicles. It is dedicated to creating a comprehensive industry ecosystem that integrates exhibitions, forums, races, performances, and festivals. CIMAMotor enhances the platform’s functions to further realize the exchange of frontier concepts, the aggregation of high-quality resources, the trade development, and the cultural exchanges. It aims to promote the continuous iterative upgrading of Chinese motorcycle industry and the full realization of innovation capabilities across the entire industrial value chain.

The International Exhibition: 160,000 Showcasing the Entire Motorcycle Industry Chain

The total scale of CIMAMotor 2023 has expanded to 160,000 square meters, a 50% increase compared to the previous event. It comprises 8 exhibition halls, with an indoor exhibition area of 100,000 square meters and an outdoor area for dynamic displays and activities spanning 60,000 square meters.

CIMAMotor 2023 has brought together over 700 exhibitors from China, the United States, Italy, Germany, France, Japan, Britain, Spain, South Korea, and other countries, showcasing more than 70 vehicle brands and 1,000 units of vehicles.

The exhibitors represent 90% of China’s motorcycle production capacity. The exhibits reflect the entire motorcycle manufacturing industry chain, including EFI systems, shock absorbers, chains/sprockets, clutches, brakes, tires, frames, batteries, instruments, electrical parts, locks, lamps, motors, controllers, chargers, GPS devices, lubricants, modified parts, trunks and accessories, apparel, and helmets.

CIMAMotor will vertically showcase the world-leading products and technologies in the motorcycle industry and horizontally present investments, foreign trade, video e-commerce, creative design, tour services, cultural communication, and other supporting services. This active approach aims to promoted the development of an ecological circle within the Chinese motorcycle industry.

China Motorcycle Chongqing Forum: Gathering Industry Elites to Anticipate the Future

The 2023 China Motorcycle Chongqing Forum is jointly organized by the China Chamber of Commerce for Motorcycle and the Organizing Committee of CIMAMotor. It will take place currently with CIMAMotor 2023 at the Chongqing International Expo Center on September 15.

With the theme of “Opportunity and Challenge of an Industry in Transition”, the forum will center its discussions on key industry topics, including motorcycle development strategy, market status and trends, and technological evolution. Motorcycle enterprises, technology research institutions, investors, e-commerce platforms, governments representatives, and scholars have been invited and will converge to envision the future of the industry.

This will create a new social scene centered on motorcyclists, integrating online communication and offline exhibition and trade.

Its goal is to broaden the use scenarios for motorcycles and related products, nurture the culture of motorcycle tours with Chinese characteristics, and transform the city and natural landscapes of Chongqing and even the entire world into showcases for Chinese motorcycle brands.

920 Knight of Labor Festival: Celebrating the Glory of Labor

The “920 Knight of Labor Festival” is a festival initiated by CIMAMotor for laborers who utilize motorcycles as their means of production. With the theme “Labor Makes Glory”, the festival highlights the societal importance of motorcycles in flexible employment and urban services. CIMAMotor anticipates that the festival will further elevate the social status of these laborers and advocate for the removal of nationalwide bans on motorcycles in cities, thereby fostering the motocycle market as a means of production.

CIMAMotor 2023 will promote safe riding, organize red carpet ceremonies, recognize and applaud exceptional “Labor Knights” and host the soirees and various other activities to continuously enrich the festival and establish both online and offline display platforms for laborers. CIMAMotor has extended its exhibition beyond the expo center to encompass the entire city, creating new display settings that blend industry, cultural tourism, and consumption, with the aim of crafting a citywide grand carnival.
