On May 5, 2023, the 31st China International Bicycle Fair (henceforth referred to as CHINA CYCLE), themed “Safer, Smarter, Lower Carbon”, was inaugurated at SNIEC and successfully concluded on May 8.

This first post-pandemic Chinese expo attracted buyers from over 70 countries and regions. MEGA CHINAMOTOR, one of the media participants, bore witness to the bustling scenes of the expo and conducted random interviews with foreign buyers. The event offered a palpable sense of the thriving vigor of the bicycle and e-bike industries.

The expo was housed in 12 pavilions, namely E1-E7, W1-W3, OE9 and OE10, with more than 1200 participating companies, 6500 booths, and a total area of 135,000 square meters. The pavilions included the International Brands Pavilion, Complete Bicycles Pavilion, Parts Pavilion, Electric Vehicles and Parts Pavilion, Children’s Bicycles Pavilion, and Outdoor Riding Equipment Pavilion, among others.

Leading bike brands such as GIANT and MERIDA showcased their new bikes.

Leading E-vehicle companies such as YADEA, TAILG, LVNENG, KERENand LVYUAN showcased their E-bike product series.

E-bike firms, led by PXID, JSL, JOBO, SUNTIDE,LEICHTEN,CODIFICE ,MOTORLIFE, SUNCOLOR, DECE and others, introduced a multitude of new products.

Furthermore, we noticed numerous excellent manufacturers of electric scooters and E-motorcycles, such as EVERWIN, KAINING, DIMEN.

Additionally, parts manufacturers like JAYLN, SHENGYI, BAFANG, PHYLION, XIONGFENG, NEWWAYS and TOSEVEN also participated in the expo.

This event provided a global platform for exhibitors to showcase the latest achievements in new technologies, materials, processes, and intelligence in the bicycle industry. China, being the world’s largest bicycle production base and consumer market, accounts for 60% of the total global bicycle trade volume. In recent years, China’s bicycle industry has been dedicated to transformation and upgrading, constantly seeking breakthroughs in core technologies. As one of the three major international bicycle exhibitions, CHINA CYCLE continues to maintain its high professionalism and extensive influence, making it a must-attend event for professionals in the bicycle and e-bike industries.
