Global Bike Supply Chain Conference Held In Shanghai
China – On May 7, 2021, the Global Bike Supply Chain Conference was held in Shanghai, which was jointly organized by China Bicycle Association and its affiliated parts committee, CONEBI, and BPSA.
Representatives from more than 40 enterprises and industry organizations, including Specialized, Cube, Decathlon, Accell, Leader96, as well as the domestic Julong, Phoenix, Golden Wheel, Luyuan, Bafang, and Phylion attended the symposium.
Vice President and secretary general of China Bicycle Association Guo Wenyu introduced to online foreign guests the exhibitions of 2021, excellent performance of China bicycle industry amid COVID-19 and its contribution to the stability of the global supply chain, hoping the Chinese and foreign entrepreneurs can overcome the temporary barriers and keep smooth communication through online meetings to contribute to the continuous prosperity of the industry.
Then Chinese and foreign representatives of industry organizations and enterprises, combining with their own characteristics, conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on status of supply chain, countermeasures, investment policies, mutual recognition of standards, technical cooperation, and personnel exchange, which put forward constructive suggestions and opinions to promote the stability, recovery and enhancement of international supply chain, forming a consensus for open development.
Through the symposium, the Chinese and foreign industrial organizations and enterprises spoke out their problems and difficulties, and actively sought solutions and ways for international cooperation and investment, further promoting the healthy and orderly development of the global industry.
