ASEAN Production Base Pushes TAILG’s Globalization
In early November, the launching ceremony of the TAILG’s ASEAN New energy electric vehicle production base was held grandly in Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center. The construction of the production base will provide a new strategic support for the globalization of TAILG, indicating that TAILG has ushered in another milestone moment in its globalization journey.
ASEAN base accelerates TAILG’s globalization
TAILG’s ASEAN new energy electric vehicle production base is located in the Gangbei district of Guigang city, Guangxi province, with a total planned investment of about 1.32 billion yuan and an area of about 300 mu. When the project is completed, the annual output reach 2 million sets of electric vehicles.
Chen Yingsheng, general manager of TAILG’s marketing company, said, “The ASEAN market is an indispensable part of TAILG’s global market map. In the future, the ASEAN production base will not only meet the market demands of the six provinces in South China, but also create new sales growth points for the ASEAN region, further expanding TAILG’s leading advantages in overseas markets.
ASEAN base facilitates TAILG’s global leading advantages
In 2020, China’s total export of electric vehicles grow rapidly, and the overseas markets have become incremental markets with great potential. ASEAN is China’s largest trading partner. As one of the pioneer of Chinese electric vehicle brands “going global”, TAILG‘s ASEAN production base is of great strategic significance.
“To meet the market development needs, TAILG already has R&D and production bases in Shenzhen, Dongguan, Wuxi, Xuzhou, Tianjin, Chengdu.
