The 2026 MotoGP Aragon Grand Prix came to a close, with CFMOTO Aspar Team delivering a solid performance across both Moto3 and Moto2. The team scored podium finishes in both classes, securing valuable championship points and underlining its consistent competitiveness throughout the MotoGP paddock.

Moto3 was the standout for CFMOTO Aspar, with both riders finishing on the podium. Staring from the front row, Máximo Quiles quickly joined the leading group and engaged in a fierce battle with pole-sitter David Almansa and teammate Marco Morelli. Midway through the race, Quiles briefly ran wide and lost the lead, but quickly recovered to regain position at the front. As the race entered its closing stages, he held off sustained pressure from his rivals and crossed the line just 0.264 seconds ahead to claim victory in Moto3.

The win carries additional significance for Quiles, who had only recently returned from a collarbone injury. Making his competitive comeback at Aragon, the Spaniard immediately returned to the top step of the podium. According to MotoGP’s official statistics, the victory marked Quiles’ seventh Grand Prix win  of the 2026 season, further strengthening his lead in the Moto3 World Championship standings.

Morelli also delivered a strong performance throughout the race, remaining firmly within the leading group before taking third place, just 0.715 seconds behind the second place. He also set the fastest lap of the race, clocking a 1:56.675. With a victory and a third-place finish, CFMOTO Aspar emerged as one of the strongest teams in the Moto3 filed at Aragon.

In Moto2, CFMOTO Aspar Team maintained its competitive form from qualifying. Daniel Holgado and David Alonso secured third and fifth on the grid respectively, putting both riders on the second row. Holgado was particularly close to pole position, finishing just 0.229 seconds off the top spot.

Holgado initially ran with the leading group in the race, but his pace gradually faded as the laps went by, leaving him to finish seventh. Starting from fifth, David Alonso produced a stronger performance in the latter stages, progressively increasing his pace and making several effective overtakes. He moved into podium contention in the closing stages and ultimately secured third place, finishing just 0.881 seconds behind the race winner and continued his strong run of podium results this season.

Overall, the Aragon GP proved to be a productive weekend for CFMOTO Aspar, with the team scoring points and podium finishes in both Moto3 and Moto2.
