Double Victory Triumph! CFMOTO Aspar Team Dominates the Spanish GP as Holgado and Quiles Claim Top Honors

At the Spanish round of the MotoGP World Championship, the CFMOTO Aspar Team delivered a standout performance, achieving major breakthroughs in both Moto2 and Moto3. Daniel Holgado secured victory in Moto2, while Máximo Quiles triumphed in Moto3. Meanwhile, David Alonso finished fifth in Moto2 and Marco Morelli claimed second place in Moto3. With a “double win plus multiple top finishes,” the team showcased its strong competitiveness and increasingly consistent race performance.

In the Moto2 class, Holgado was undoubtedly the center of attention. The Spanish rider delivered an outstanding performance throughout, displaying an extremely steady race pace from his strong showing in qualifying to his consistent performance in the main race. Long-distance races pose a significant test of both physical fitness and motorcycle control. Although he briefly lost the lead at the start, he quickly adjusted his rhythm to retake first place and maintained his advantage until the end, securing a dominant victory. His teammate Alonso also rode consistently. The rising Colombian rider finished inside the top three in the early stages; despite fluctuations in position mid-race due to changing pace, he held his ground with mature motorcycle control and finished fifth, earning crucial points for the team.

In Moto3, CFMOTO Aspar Team continued its strong momentum. Quiles displayed exceptional race control and adaptability in a highly unpredictable race. Despite starting from a less favorable position, he fought his way through the field and quickly moved into contention, gradually extending his lead with a consistent and aggressive pace. Following a red flag caused by an incident and the subsequent restart, Quiles once again demonstrated superior speed, pulling away decisively from the field to claim a dominant victory. Morelli also delivered an impressive performance. The young rider, still relatively inexperienced, struggled with grip in the opening phase and temporarily dropped out of podium contention. However, after the race restart, he quickly regrouped, launched a determined charge, and emerged as one of the few riders capable of matching Quiles’ pace. Ultimately, he finished a close second, helping the team secure a one-two finish in Moto3—marking its first such dominant result in the category since 2022.

Overall, the CFMOTO Aspar Team demonstrated outstanding all-around strength and teamwork at this round. From Holgado’s commanding Moto2 victory to the Moto3 one-two finish by Quiles and Morelli, along with Alonso’s consistent points finish, the team not only achieved a comprehensive breakthrough in a single race weekend but also secured strong positions in both the rider and team standings. As the season progresses, CFMOTO Aspar Team continues to show increasing maturity and competitiveness, steadily expanding its advantage across both Moto2 and Moto3 while pushing toward even greater achievements.
