Milan, Italy and the world’s premier two-wheel and mobility exhibition was a gleaming showcase for CFMOTO to reveal the full glory of their expanding line-up, but the Hangzhou company also surprised the crowds. A new 1000 MT-X becomes the fresh flagship of the adventure range along with a reimagined CRAFTED version. CFMOTO displayed their design panache with the 675NK GP concept, wowed onlookers with the V4 SR-RR prototype as well as ditching the covers from four new ATVs.

The 82nd annual EICMA show is set to welcome more than half a million people through the doors of the Fiera Milano this week after the 2024 edition of the event crammed in 600,000 visitors throughout the six days. CFMOTO was able to create a stir from the first hours by directing the lights on their 2026 models, products and innovations. They also pushed their future projects to the fore while celebrating another year of competitive motorsport activity and divulging the exploits of recent community engagement schemes that have unearthed touching stories from around the globe.

CFMOTO’s presence began with the motorcycles press conference, directed by Markus Ferch, VP of Sales for Europe. Mr. Ferch explained that the company’s core belief of designing, developing and manufacturing technically astute, market-sensitive bikes and vehicles with high production values but still affordable and accessible has meant continued growth. CFMOTO now employs more than 9000 specialist staff and supplies over 7000 dealers in a network that spans 100 countries and millions of customers.

CFMOTO’s evolution has been based on unceasing R&D, dependable and attractive products and increasing diversification with a pan-global vision. The company has also invested in several sub-brands in the last two years, including CFLITE, which offers quality but affordable entry-level bikes for the LATAM market, ZEEHO for forward-thinking electrical solutions for urban mobility and with futuristic design, and the acquisition of renowned ATV marque GOES, thus widening its European spread by a further 1200 dealers, while CFMOTO CRAFTED delivers original parts, garments and accessories developed alongside CFMOTO vehicles.

Carles Solsona, CFMOTO 2-wheel Design Director, then pieced together the current and coming motorcycle highlights. Heading into 2026, CFMOTO has formed a portfolio of eight distinct branches, from sport to cruiser to adventure to scooter and from 125cc capacity to 1000cc+, including the SR, MT, NK and SCOOTER series, and more— alongside its electric sub-brand, ZEEHO.

The focus fell onto the anticipated inaugurations both for 2026 and the future for CFMOTO: hence the pervading theme of ‘FUTURE FASTER’ for the EICMA layout. The firm’s MT range has benefited from rich development in recent years thanks to the everyday versatility of the bikes and the possibilities to provide a rewarding and advanced experience in the saddle. The MTs have clearly connected with bikers new and old, young and senior, as shown by the interest in the first ever ‘CFMOTO MT CHALLENGE’ this year: a community scheme that spread across nearly 20 countries and brought motorcyclists into a point-scoring skill contest. The event culminated in the global final held in Australia, marking another solid step in CFMOTO’s continuous efforts to strengthen its connection with riders and turn its commitment to user engagement into actions.

Building on the MT range’s burgeoning prestige, Mr. Solsona eagerly presented the new flagship 1000MT-X. The bike will slot at the top of the MT spectrum thanks in part to the 946.2 cc parallel-twin liter engine platform, pumping out 83kW (111hp) at 8500rpm and a maximum torque of 105Nm at 6250rpm (with a high torque range) but also due to other standout features. Bosch MSE 9.0 EFI helps to finesse the superb linear delivery and throttle response, chiseled through more than 100,000km endurance tests. The 1000MT-X is light (the powerplant is 56kg) through fabrication that involves a lightweight alloy crankcase and precision-formed camshafts. The dry weight is 199kg. The 1000MT-X delivers impressive agility. Engineered for long-range travel, the 22.5L tank offers over 450 km of range under comprehensive riding conditions. There is also a focused approach to ergonomics with the thin upper section and 2-1 seat meaning the rider will be comfortable and can rely on prime feedback whether standing or sitting.

The 1000MT-X has been constructed to go the distance. Aerospace-grade 7-series aluminum rims will crush the milometer (67% higher tensile strength than conventional alloys) and Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR will keep grip all the way. Premium components litter the bike. Fully adjustable KYB suspension and a full, potent Brembo brake system combine with other aspects like a Bosch 6-axis IMU for five ride modes, ABS, dynamic traction control and more, all administered through the highly-resistant 8-inch touchscreen TFT. TPMS, a quickshifter, heated grips and saddle, cruise control and adjustable handlebars and windscreen come as standard and there are also protective elements like a skid plate, handguards and a chain guard. The aesthetics make the 1000MT-X hard to miss and the bike comes in two color options: Zephyr Blue or Tactical Green.

The dedication to the 1000MT-X inspired the CFMOTO designers: what would be the next step for such a usable and inviting motorcycling ‘tool’? The answer led to the 1000MT-X CRAFTED, specifically for EICMA, and to demonstrate how the 1000MT-X can be altered and personalized. The 1000MT-X CRAFTED in Italy had bronze forks and wheels with satin-gray engine covers, a grippy frame protector, a magnetic swingarm cover and protection bars, creating a premium yet rugged appearance. Riders can generate their own memories and explore their freedom with the 1000MT-X, but the CRAFTED concept proved that imagination can run wild. The bike can be molded even more to the adventurer’s taste.

The speed of the launch event picked up when attention turned to another bike: the 675NK GP. The midweight naked model is an ideal compromise between functionality and fun behind the bars but with a striking design and impressive tech specs. CFMOTO was proud to welcome representatives from the Aspar Racing Team – five-time winners of Moto3 and Moto2 Grands Prix in 2025 – to help initiate the 675NK GP. The special edition not only has a race-inspired livery but also a host of premium parts to assemble a true homage to CFMOTO’s endeavors at the elite level.

2025 MotoGP is still ongoing, and the Aspar Racing Team could add to their tally of 17 podiums and 5 Pole Positions, with Mr. Maximo Quiles having just earned the Moto3 Rookie of the Year title. But CFMOTO is already thinking ahead, particularly with their pursuit of excellence. Mr. Solsona therefore provided an important update on the progress of the V4 engine – announced towards the end of 2024 – thanks to its presence in the newly labelled V4 SR-RR prototype.

The V4 SR-RR slots at the peak of the SR family but is a manifesto for CFMOTO’s reach for tomorrow. It melds design with R&D, and expectation has accumulated with mounting test bench results, optimizing performance, reducing weight, and improving aerodynamics, without ever sacrificing aesthetic and functional balance.

From a technical standpoint, it features a new-generation 90° V4 engine with a 997cc displacement. The curb weight is below 200 kg, while the crankshaft power output exceeds over 157kW (over 210 hp). With a weight-to-power ratio of 0.86 (dry weight with racing exhaust kit), the V4 SR-RR achieves a benchmark level of less than 1kg per hp, positioning it among the top performers in its class. The engine delivers a broad, linear, and progressive power curve that allows the rider to fully exploit the potential of the V4. Every component has been engineered to ensure immediate throttle response and maximum control both on road and track.

The package embraces cutting-edge electronics for maximum control of the output and safety. The sporty visual is striking, celebrating dynamism, performance and the future but the aerodynamic profile, the weight-to-power and tech specs (semi-active electronic suspension and Akrapovic exhaust system) all hoist the V4 SR-RR alongside any other premium motorcycle offering from any other brand. The V4 SR-RR serves as an advanced platform for the development of future models that will soon take shape.

CFMOTO could not bring their exposition to a conclusion without recognizing their achievements and efforts in the four-wheel segment. Alongside the motorcycle press conference, the company organized a separate one, featuring new models and designs under the CFMOTO ORV and GOES brands.

Alexei Mikhailov, Design Director at CFMOTO USA, presented the debuting CFORCE C4, CFORCE C5 TOURING and CFORCE C6 PRO TOURING ATVs. These three models build upon the vision first revealed through the CFORCE Gen 4 DNA concept at last year’s EICMA, and represent the evolution from concept to production. They carry an all-new design language that is unapologetically daring. The look illustrates CFMOTO’s class-leading ability to mix bold, modern edges and form with practicality and efficiency.

The emphasis was taken by the CFORCE TECH GEN⁴ on center stage. The ATV is all about redefinition. How? With special attention on the rider experience and connectivity with the vehicle as well as the implementation of technology. Details matter: signature lighting and E-Shift tech to integrated storage, generous rack space, and ergonomic footwells for heightened intuitive riding. The CFORCE TECH GEN⁴ then has a few extra novelties. A safer journey comes through developed ATV ABS (Electronic Stability Control) for extra reassurance. Better agility (and less maneuvering) with a more flexible chassis, all-wheel steering, OCA braking and adaptive front lighting to illuminate much tighter turning circles. Riders will not hesitate for the path ahead with the hydraulic suspension adapting to varied ground clearance, a disconnecting sway bar and brake traction control ensuring that the toughest trail becomes a piece of cake. Users will not break sweat for any climbs or drops as the CFORCE TECH GEN⁴ comes with auto vehicle hold, hill start assist, and hill descent control. The benchmark has been lifted.

The innovation behind the CFORCE TECH GEN⁴ makes it more than just a machine—it embodies CFMOTO’s spirit of exploration and the solid foundation built through years of design and engineering excellence. It redefines the future of off-road riding and the very experience of adventure itself.

In addition to the major unveilings at the press conferences, CFMOTO presented new models such as the 800NK MSC, 800MT-ES, and 125SC-F, while its electric sub-brand ZEEHO showcased the AE8 MAX and AE7, attracting wide attention from visitors.

CFMOTO’s sub-brand GOES also made a strong impression. Following its debut at EICMA last year, GOES returned with a refreshed lineup that underscores its growing momentum in the European market. Already ranking among the top five brands in terms of market share in Europe, GOES represents impressive and sustained growth. The display featured the new concept GOES G-CORE T25 and the latest models — TERROX 350, TERROX 550L, TERROX 550S, and TERROX 1000.

The CFMOTO ceremony closed but EICMA opened to full capacity and will now pique the curiosity of the crowds from around Europe who will descend on this corner of Milan. Hundreds of thousands will pass the company’s stage, grab the bars and test the saddles, talk to staff and feel the pull of temptation. Outside of the halls, CFMOTO will continue to wind the throttle in their quest to set new references and standards. Faster in the future.
