CFMOTO Unveils New 550MT Models and V4 SR-RR at EICMA 2026, Announces Partnership with KALEX

Two new middleweight adventure motorcycles, a special V4 SR-RR edition and a new technical partnership with the renowned Moto2 chassis manufacturer highlight CFMOTO’s presence in Milan.
CFMOTO is presenting its latest product developments at EICMA 2026, held from November 3 to 8 in Milan, Italy, under the theme “NEXT IS NOW.” Highlights include two additions to the 550MT family, the 550MT-X and 550MT, alongside the high-performance V4 SR-RR range. The brand also announced a technical partnership with German racing chassis manufacturer KALEX, bringing a motorsport dimension to its exhibition.

The new 550MT-X and 550MT are among the key attractions at CFMOTO’s stand. While both belong to the same middleweight adventure motorcycle family, they are developed with different riding priorities in mind.
The 550MT-X is positioned as a more off-road-focused middleweight ADV, emphasizing reduced weight, performance and off-road capability. It is powered by a 526cc parallel-twin engine producing 40kW at 8,500rpm and 52Nm at 6,000rpm. The motorcycle has a dry weight of 172kg and a curb weight of 183kg, with a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel combination and 250mm of ground clearance. Its equipment includes fully adjustable KYB suspension at both ends, independently switchable traction control and front and rear ABS, electronic throttle control and a bidirectional quickshifter. Seat height is adjustable between 830mm and 850mm, supporting its positioning for more demanding riding conditions.

The 550MT, in contrast, places greater emphasis on road comfort and long-distance touring. It features a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup, fully adjustable KYB suspension tuned for comfort, and an adjustable seat height of 800–820mm. Its 23-liter fuel tank is designed to support extended journeys. Electronic features include three riding modes, cornering ABS, cornering traction control, a rear detection system (RDS), cruise control, an electronic clutch and a bidirectional quickshifter. The model also comes with an 8-inch display featuring CarPlay connectivity, while its keyless access system supports Bluetooth, app, NFC and password unlocking.

Together, the two models give the 550MT family a clearer distinction between off-road-oriented exploration and road-focused adventure touring.

Another major attraction is the V4 SR-RR high-performance sportbike range. Among the models on display, the V4 SR-RR Carbon Black special edition stands out with extensive carbon-fiber bodywork and an all-black finish. The combination of lightweight materials and an aggressive visual design reinforces the model’s racing-inspired character. Its presence at EICMA further highlights CFMOTO’s ongoing development in the high-performance motorcycle segment.

Beyond its new motorcycles, CFMOTO announced a technical partnership with KALEX, a well-established manufacturer of racing chassis with a strong presence in the Moto2 World Championship. The two companies plan to use motorsport as a driver for technological innovation and jointly explore new technical solutions. A motorcycle featuring KALEX’s dedicated Moto2 livery was also presented at the exhibition to mark the announcement. KALEX has built a strong reputation through its long-standing involvement in Moto2, where its chassis technology has played a significant role in the championship over the years.

With the expansion of the 550MT family, the display of the V4 SR-RR range and the newly announced KALEX partnership, CFMOTO’s EICMA 2026 presence reflects developments across its middleweight adventure, high-performance motorcycle and motorsport-related activities.
