CFMOTO Aspar Won Again as Quiles Takes Hungarian GP Victory

The Moto3 race of the 2026 MotoGP Hungarian Grand Prix concluded recently at Balaton Park Circuit, with Spanish rising star Máximo Quiles delivering another outstanding performance for the CFMOTO Aspar Team. Demonstrating remarkable consistency and race pace, Quiles crossed the finish line first to secure yet another victory, further strengthening CFMOTO Aspar Team’s position in the fight for the Moto3 World Championship.

As one of the standout riders in the Moto3 field this season, Quiles showed strong form throughout the Hungarian Grand Prix weekend. In qualifying, he secured a front-row starting position by a narrow margin, putting himself in an ideal position for the race.
When the lights went out, Quiles quickly established himself among the leading group and remained firmly in contention for the win throughout the race. Faced with the technical layout of Balaton Park Circuit and the constantly evolving race dynamics, the CFMOTO Aspar rider displayed impressive race management and composure. Midway through the race, he seized a crucial overtaking opportunity and gradually built a gap at the front.

As the race entered its second half, Quiles maintained a consistent pace and kept control of the proceedings. Despite intense pressure from the chasing pack, he left little room for rivals to challenge. In the closing stages, he stayed focused and successfully carried his advantage all the way to the finish.

A red flag triggered by an incident on the final lap brought the race to an early end, with the final classification determined according to the regulations. Quiles was officially confirmed as the race winner, adding another valuable trophy to the CFMOTO Aspar Team’s growing collection this season.
The victory marked Quiles’ fifth win of the 2026 campaign, further extending his lead in the Moto3 Riders’ Championship standings. With another maximum points haul in Hungary, he has strengthened his position as a leading contender for this year’s Moto3 world title.

CFMOTO Aspar Team’s other rider, Marco Morelli, also completed the race successfully and added important championship points to the team’s tally. The team continues to maintain a strong presence in both the Riders’ and Teams’ Championship standings, remaining one of the key forces in this season’s title battle.

From adapting quickly at the beginning of the season to establishing a consistent winning rhythm, Quiles continues to demonstrate the talent and potential that have made him one of the most promising young riders in the paddock. For CFMOTO Aspar Team, the victory in Hungary represents more than just another race win—it further reinforces the team’s championship ambitions in Moto3. As the season heads into its second half, CFMOTO will continue its pursuit of world championship success.
