Cyrusher Kuattro- Chinese-made Electric Bike Competing in the US Market
In Europe and the United States and other regions, the electric bikes have been very popular among local consumers in the past two years. According to the related data, the new Kuattro adopts the 6061 aluminum alloy frame, and the adjustable handlebar and seat, which is suitable for riders from 1.7m to 2m in height to ride comfortably. In additional, the internal cable is easy to install or remove so that riders can ride by manpower or electric drive.
In terms of power, the Kuattro is equipped with a 750W Bafang hub motor with a peak power of 1.2kW and a torque of 80N m. It’s equipped with a Shimano SL-TX50-R 7 speed gear for a more flexible driving experience. In addition, it is equipped with a 48V17Ah lithium battery pack with a capacity of 816Wh, it can travel 40-80km per full charge. Although it can be charged with a 110/240-V charging port, it will take 5-7 hours to fully charge.
In terms of configuration, the Kuattro is equipped with two 4-inch wide, puncture-resistant fat tires that can cope with different terrains. The tires are wrapped around 26-inch rims. It adopts the 80mm-stroke hydraulic front fork, and the front and rear brake are disc brakes. The vehicle is also equipped with a 3.7-inch LCD display for checking e-bike status and riding metrics, as well as adjusting motor auxiliary modes. The new model is also equipped with LED headlights, taillights, stoplights.
The Kuattro weighs 34kg (including batteries) and has a maximum carrying capacity of about 150kg. The model is currently available for reservation with the price of $2,329, or about RMB 16,000.
According to the the industry data, it shows that the demand for the electric bikes with fat tires in the European and American markets has far exceeded that for ordinary electric bikes in the past two years, which also means that the fat-tire electric bike has a bright future.
