Entry-level K-CROSS Upgraded (Static Review)
K-CROSS has received three major upgrades to comprehensively enhancing the riding experience.
First, the engine and transmission is upgraded to the racing bike level. The vibration is significantly reduced, completely eliminating the drawbacks gearshifting dragging and flameout-at-starting.
Second, the ECU system is optimized, significantly improving power explosion at low revs (below 5000rpm).
Third, the front mud fender and shock absorber are upgraded, solving the problem of abnormal sound on the front wheel, increasing the gap between the front mud fender and wheel.
Fourth, immense power
The 200cc DOHC water-cooled engine independently developed by JINCHENG has better cooling effect, reduced heat failure and prolonged service life; the dry oil sump ensures that the crankshaft runs without resistance and the crankcase is vacuumized, further improving engine power. Four-valve DOHC brings greater instantaneous intake and exhaust, and achieves full combustion and stronger explosive power.
It adopts the bushing transmission commonly used on mid and large displacement engines, with high load and high rev, which is superior to the traditional needle roller crankshaft and more suitable for ultra-long distance travel.
The engine compression ratio is 12.1:1. The measured 0-100km/h acceleration time is only 13.5s, and the top speed can reach 130km/h.
The Marelli MIU EFI, combined with air pressure sensor, makes the motorcycle automatically adapt to high altitude environment.
Advanced six-speed transmission system allows you to experience more incisively the pleasure of shifting and acceleration.
Fifth: high-performance equipment
① Full LCD instrument: large-size LCD screen to show complete working conditions of the motorcycle, with additional information of water temperature, electricity level, gear position, ABS indicator, oil pressure alarm light, and time indicator.
② Front-end technology blow molding tank: integrated blow molding large capacity tank, oil storage capacity up to 12.5L, good toughness, not easy to damage, more durable long-distance endurance, aggressive shape and sharp corners, racing car built-in fuel filling port.
③ Spoke wheel: the new spoke wheel increases adaptability to bad road conditions, improving riding comfort and hub life.
④ Integral cushion: the comfortably cushioned 770mm seat height is more suitable for Chinese riders.
⑤ USB and cigarette lighter interfaces: reserved double interface suitable for all kinds of electronic equipment.
⑥ LED turn signal and tail light: front position light, turn signal, large tail light, all adopt LED lamps to be energy saving, fashionable, highly recognizable and safer.
Sixth: six core technologies
① Sports frame: it adopts European design concept and combines the technical accumulation of Dakar and Chinese off-road races. It is made of Q345 alloy steel with high strength and good shock absorption performance, which improves the handling experience.
② Bosch ABS braking system: front three-piston caliper disc brake with Bosch dual-channel ABS, PBOX measured the braking distance from 50km/h-0 is 12m.
③ All terrain shock absorption system: front inverted shock absorber and finely tuned rear central shock absorber are suitable for all kinds of road conditions.
④ Dynamic balance wheels: the use of wheels with dynamic balance technology eliminates wheel shaking and handlebar vibration; the front 100/80-17 and rear 130/80-17 tires are plump, with stronger road holding and enhancing the sense of riding control.
⑤ Aluminum alloy variable diameter handlebar: light and flexible, suitable for off-road riding.
⑥ All terrain muffler, stainless steel exhaust pipe: true ADV muffler, high ground clearance, and SUS303 stainless steel exhaust pipe to be environmentally friendly, high temperature and corrosion resistant.
