JINCHENG K-Cross Upgrade Experience
What riders have to say after riding the upgraded K-Cross?
Chen Jianguo: Vice President of Nanjing Automobile and Motorcycle Sports Association, Guinness record creator of 12 motorcycle events, motorcycle athlete
K-Cross is both an ADV and off-road motorcycle.
K-Cross received three major upgrades:
First, the drive system is upgraded to the racing bike level. This change has greatly helped the users who frequently encounter start-off flameout. With an engine of Italian origin, the upgraded drive system also solved the low-rev problems.
Second, the ECU computer system has been fine-tuned to deliver unlimited power and greater low-rev power.
Third, the front fender and shock absorber have been upgraded to solve the problem of abnormal sound of the front wheel. Now K-Cross show good passability and stability on muddy roads. This is a motorcycle combining the extreme off-road and long-distance travel performances.
K-Cross can go over 130km/s on hills. It can go where the general ADVs can not go. Its weight is well controlled, with a good riding triangle comfortable for a 170cm rider.
It is equipped with steel wire rims for good flexibility. K-Cross’ pineapple-pattern tires are more suitable for off-road riding, with about 30%-40% off-road function, and there is no tire noise when riding on the highway.
With advanced engine technology and proper body size, this motorcycle is suitable for different user groups. The body center of gravity is low. If you want to well control it, you need to shift the gears frequently and maintain a high rev between 4,000rpm and 5,000rpm.
Han Baohua: rider, Guinness record holder for one motorcycle sport, winner of the Golden Helmet of Taklimakan Rally, and motorcycle coach
The handling of K-Cross improved a lot and it was very comfortable to ride in the mountains all day. You need to shift gears frequently, and the gear, throttle and clutch are more smoothly coordinated.
It can be both an entry-level or a middle-level bike. It is capable of handling the complex conditions of cement road, asphalt road and mountain road, with great passing performance and road holding.
It has Marelli EFI, ABS and other advantages, becoming a good choice for commuting and motorcycle traveling.
Hu Wali: off-road motorcycle coach, mountain and water sports coach
The first time I rode K-Cross 200 in the Qinglong Mountain, I was most satisfied with the seat height, which allows a 162cm rider to touch the ground on one foot, making it easier to control the bike on muddy roads. It can go 50km/h-60km/h in the 3rd gear when riding at high speeds.
Huang Muhua: motorcycle rider from Nanjing
The first impression is the comfortable sitting posture, suitable for motorcycle travel. The clutch and gears feel clear. The brakes with ABS improve safety. The shock absorber feels a little bit hard over some potholes, which may touch the ground if with heavy loads.
Wu Shaoheng: motorcycle rider from Nanjing
It starts flexible with immense power for acceleration, which feels like a 500cc/600cc big motorcycle.
Zhang Bokai: motorcycle rider from Nanjing, motorcycle technician
When running on mountain and gravel roads, the engine delivers huge power in the first gear. Braking is sensitive, and ABS intervention is quick.
