The 2026 Qinhan Motocross Championship recently came to a close, with KAYO factory racing team rider Hu Bolin competing in two categories aboard two KAYO off-road machines. He delivered strong performances in both the New Energy and International A classes, demonstrating the competitive potential of Chinese-made off-road motorcycles.

In the New Energy class, Hu Bolin made his professional motocross debut aboard the Real Energy eC2i. The challenging track featured muddy sections, steep climbs and long-distance off-road sections. Apart from replacing the wheels with professional off-road rims, the eC2i retained its original factory powertrain, electronic control system and overall configuration, with no additional modifications or special tuning. After two hard-fought motos, the eC2i delivered consistent performance to secure third place in the New Energy class, providing a real-world test of the electric off-road motorcycle’s performance and reliability.

In the highly competitive International A class, the grid was dominated by modified, large-displacement imported motorcycles. Riding the KAYO K6R NX350, Hu Bolin faced the inherent displacement gap between 350cc and 450cc machines. Despite the disadvantage, he maintained a composed race pace, demonstrated strong cornering control and delivered consistent power throughout the races. His performance saw him fight his way through a field of strong imported competitors and put a Chinese-made racing motorcycle firmly in the spotlight.

Hu Bolin’s performance was also complemented by the strong showing of the wider KAYO racing team. Teammates Xu Linze, Li Jia and Xue Lintao also finished among the leading riders in the New Energy class. Xu Linze scored 36 points for fourth place, while Li Jia finished fifth with 32 points, highlighting the team’s overall depth and competitive strength.

The Qinhan event served not only as the competitive debut of the Real Energy eC2i, but also as an important real-world test for the KAYO K6R NX350 under high-intensity professional racing conditions. The race data and experience gained from the event will provide valuable references for the continued performance development and technical refinement of KAYO’s off-road motorcycles.

As motocross racing continues to grow in China, KAYO will continue to use professional competition as a testing ground for its products, refining performance through real-world racing and further strengthening the presence of Chinese off-road motorcycles in professional competition.
