KYMCO CT300 SHOWS GOOD PRACTICABILITY
KYMCO’s previous new CT250 has gained a good reputation in the market, and then CT300 was soon launched, which received new upgrades. As a flat scooter, KYMCO’s CT series well combines utility and sports performance, opening up a new market segment in the field of big scooter. It makes the big scooters convenient, comfortable, practical, and even sporty.
CT300 continues the design concept of CT250 in appearance. The body largely adopts streamlined design, with a compact and full front. The entire CT300 appears to be young and modern. The fluorescent green makes CT300 look more beautiful and fashionable.
Although the low windshield slightly lack practicality, it goes well with the overall modeling and also brings a trace of sports element. The design of lighting highlights the modern style: it not only adopts integrated design, but is also provided with auto class of turn signal, improving the overall quality.
Compared with CT250, CT300 has more practical equipment. First, CT300 uses LCD meters, and the right side is added with KYMCO Noodoe networking system to make the scooter more intelligent. Second, it is equipped with tire pressure monitoring system, which can not only check the tire pressure in real time through the meter, but also automatically turn on the indicator light when the tire pressure turns abnormal, increasing riding safety. Finally, CT300 is provided with a pull-up rotary type pedal: there is a switch under the cushion to control it. The cushion of CT300 has also been redesigned, with an additional logo and more sponges filled at the front.
The braking system CT300 has also received upgrade. The front brake has unidirectional three-piston calipers with a 260mm floating disc, and the rear brake has unidirectional three-piston calipers with a 240mm brake disc. The standard configuration of a Bosch ABS ensures safer braking.
CT300 carries the powertrain of X-citing 300, a single-cylinder water-cooled 2-valve engine with a displacement of 276ml, a maximum power of 17.8kw(23Ps)/8,000rpm, and a maximum torque of 24.5N·m /6,500rpm.
CT300 and CT250 are both designed with a USB port on the handlebar. There is storage space on the left side below the handlebar for the convenience of holding some small items. The cushion is supported by a hydraulic lever. The under-cushion space is illuminated by LED light and can accommodate a full-face helmet.
Compared with CT250, CT300 is added with more practical and secure configuration. In today’s urban environment, more and more riders tend to choose this kind of practical big scooter as a means of transportation. CT300 is further improved on the basis of CT250, providing another diversified choice for users who values more practicability. (Source: WeChat: MTC-CHINA)
