LIFAN K19 Youth Version Launched: Starting at RMB 10,800, Opening the Door to Your First Cruiser Experience

LIFAN Motorcycle has recently introduced a brand-new entry-level cruiser model to the Chinese market—the K19 Youth Version, priced at RMB 10,800. Designed for young riders, this lightweight cruiser is built around the concept of “Youthful Cruising,” with targeted optimizations in ease of handling, practical features, and riding comfort, aiming to become the ideal first cruiser for a new generation of riders.

In terms of power, the K19 Youth Version is equipped with a 150cc liquid-cooled engine featuring a balance shaft. This powertrain focuses on durability and ease of ownership, while meeting the needs of daily commuting and beginner-level riding. It delivers a maximum output of 10kW at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 12.8 N·m at 6,500 rpm, offering smooth and controllable power delivery that is especially beginner-friendly. Meanwhile, a compression ratio of 11.4:1 and a top speed of over 90 km/h provide sufficient performance beyond urban commuting scenarios.

For overall setup, the K19 Youth Version takes into full account the riding experience of novice users. Its ultra-low seat height of 710mm significantly lowers the barrier to entry, allowing riders of different statures to plant both feet firmly on the ground, enhancing confidence and safety. The wide front and rear tires improve grip and stability, ensuring a more planted ride in straight-line cruising and helping new riders quickly build confidence in handling. A 1,500mm wheelbase further reinforces the stable characteristics expected of a cruiser.

In terms of design, the K19 Youth Version carries forward the classic cruiser styling while incorporating sporty elements into its details. The body lines are smooth and stretched, presenting a composed and robust stance. Paired with an LED lighting system, it not only enhances the motorcycle’s visual identity but also ensures effective illumination for night riding. Whether parked or on the move, it offers strong visual appeal.

Comfort is another highlight of the K19 Youth Version. The motorcycle features a stepped, thickened seat that provides solid support while enhancing comfort during longer rides, making it suitable for both daily commuting and short-to-medium distance trips. The instrument panel focuses on practicality, offering clear and intuitive information display while maintaining a balance between basic tech appeal and functionality, avoiding unnecessary complexity. Additionally, with a curb weight of just 160 kg, the bike remains easy to maneuver at low speeds and during parking. The 14L fuel tank further extends its range, contributing to a more relaxed riding experience.

In the entry-level cruiser segment, the K19 Youth Version stands out with its affordable price and well-balanced performance, offering young riders a compelling option that combines practicality with individuality, while also strengthening LIFAN’s presence in the lightweight cruiser category.
