Founded in 1988, Zhongneng Vehicle Group has a 240,000-square-meter manufacturing base and annual production capacity of one million motorcycles. With cumulative sales exceeding 20 million units, its products are sold in more than 200 countries and regions worldwide. Established in 2016, FRANCO Morini has focused on high-performance and recreational electric motorcycles, with an annual production capacity of 100,000 units. Its products hold international certifications including EU EEC and U.S. DOT approvals, reflecting its focus on global quality standards.

At the launch, FRANCO Morini outlined a dual-track product strategy designed to address different riding needs. The P1 Series will serve as the high-end flagship line for lifestyle-oriented riders and quality-conscious consumers, while a separate mass-market product line will focus on everyday commuting and short-distance mobility. Positioned as an urban lifestyle flagship, the new P1 is designed for a range of riding scenarios, from daily city commuting to leisure rides on the outskirts of the city.

The P1 features a minimalist futuristic design, with its styling developed by key members of a former Tesla design team. Sharp mechanical lines are combined with an avant-garde industrial design approach, giving the motorcycle a distinctive and futuristic appearance.

For range, the P1 is equipped with a 74V90Ah large-format lithium-ion battery supplied by Ampace. According to official road testing, the motorcycle delivers a combined real-world range of more than 200 km, providing sufficient range for regular weekly commuting as well as short intercity trips on weekends.

The P1 also comes with a range of smart features, including radar-based sensor activation, Bluetooth connectivity, proximity unlocking and walk-away locking. Its equipment list further includes a full-color TFT display, front and rear cameras, and a millimeter-wave radar system designed to monitor road conditions in real time and  help anticipate riding risks, combining convenience with enhanced riding safety.

In terms of manufacturing and quality control, the P1’s frame is produced using high-precision robotic welding, with key weld tolerances controlled within 0.1 mm. Critical fasteners are torque-checked across the electric motorcycle. Before delivery, every unit must pass drum-test road simulations and a series of demanding multi-condition tests to ensure overall build quality and riding stability.

At the event, FRANCO Morini also announced its sales growth targets through 2030. The company aims to exceed 100,000 units in 2027, reach 300,000 units in 2028, increase to 600,000 units in 2029, and target 1.2 million units by 2030. On the distribution side, the company plans to adopt a light-asset partnership model combining online customer acquisition with offline vehicle delivery, with the aim of reducing entry costs for dealers and accelerating its market expansion.

FRANCO Morini P1 is scheduled to enter pre-sales on September 8. As the brand’s flagship model, the P1 expands ots product lineup in the high-performance electric motorcycle segment and marks FRANCO Morini’s first major step into China’s rapidly developing electric two-wheeler market.
