Since its establishment, Niu Technologies has maintained rapid growth. It not only actively develops its business in China, but also goes abroad to become one of the most famous Chinese brands. To date, Niu Technologies has entered 34 countries and provided SaaS-based smart e-scooter sharing solutions for 13 e-scooter sharing operators in 11 countries. In March 2019, Niu Technologies partnered with U.S. E-scooter sharing operator Revel to launch 1,000 sharing electric scooters in Brooklyn, New York. It has since expanded that business to Washington, D.C., Austin, and Miami.
By the end of the second quarter of 2019, Niu Technologies had sold more than 810,000 smart scooters worldwide, with 1,005 experience and specialty stores in 182 domestic cities.
At present, due to the shortage of resources and environmental degradation, the concepts of “sharing” and “green mobility” are frequently proposed. Naturally, electric motorcycles not only meet the transportation requirements but also the green mobility requirements, which will surely become a future development direction for the industry.
