QJMOTOR ELECTRIC SPORTS BIKE RX5000D IN DETAIL
China – At QJMotor‘s recent two-year anniversary event, the Fort350 sports scooter was unveiled along with six new models, including an electric sports bike, the QJMotor RX 5000D.
The overall appearance continues the design style of QJMotor’s “SAI“ series. The prototype adopts white painting with gold engraving painting, and brown split cushion.
Without the fuel tank, the original space was used for storage, with a transparent top cover, hollow out side design. Below the LOGO on the left side of the body is the charging port, and the code name RX QJ5000D is under the LOGO.
The LED headlights continue the “SAI“ series’ design style, but with a new lamp layout. The turn lights are located at the edge of the fairing side guard. An dashcam is installed in the fairing. The meter UI shows electricity level, mileage, speed, and time, among others. It is worth noting that this electric sports bike has gear positions, which is shown right below the word “GEAR”. A USB charging interface is reserved on the left side of the meter.
Concealed handrails are designed on both sides of the pillion seat. The prototype is claimed to be around 130kg.
According to official introduction, the RX5000D retains the standard bike’s control layout: left clutch, shift lever, and right brake lever. The prototype has four gear positions and a clutch that cuts off power output like a fuel bike. But applying brakes will interrupt the motor’s output, which is very different from a fuel bike.
The design of middle motor + chain drive tends to maintain the control characteristics of fuel motorcycles. Cruising range and detailed parameters have not yet been announced. Overall, the RX5000D is created to make motorcyclists gradually accept electric products. That is why it has similar structure layout and control as fuel models. The RX5000D is still in the R&D stage.
