In 2015, SANYA Electric Vehicle Company obtained the national Grade 1 electric motorcycle production qualification, and formally entered the electric vehicle market. Since the official announcement of the first electric motorcycle, up to now, SANYA has launched more than 10 models of electric motorcycle qualification, covering various types needed by the market. Many of its electric motorcycles and electric bikes have also obtained the CCC certification. In 2016, SANYA became a council member of Guangdong Electric Vehicle Association, which indicates that SANYA electric vehicles have already accumulated influence in South China. The new electric motorcycle–SY1000DT-2 has been launched into the market.
