SPORTS PROPERTIES OF QINGQIKR GV650PC
In 2018, QINGQIKR introduced GV650PA, a sport cruiser from the South Korean HYOSUNG, which caused quite a stir. Two years later, to better adapt to the domestic market, GV650PA embarked on the road of localization, receiving multiple upgrades in appearance and equipment to further enhance its comprehensive competitiveness.
A sport heart
Since it boasts a sports cruiser, the GV650PC surely have its advantages in sports attributes. Its features are different from those of traditional American cruisers. It is a combination of stability, comfort and sports performance. GV650PC’s engine is from the same family of that of Suzuki SV650. It is a DOHC 8-valve 90° V-twin with a compression ratio of 11.5:1. The actual displacement is 647ml and the cylinder diameter × stroke is 81.5mm×62mm. This engine is very different from the traditional American cruiser engine, which is the main reason why the GV650PC is different from the traditional American cruisers in riding experience.
The 90°-laid cylinder is beneficial to reducing vibration, improving top rev, and increasing engine efficiency and output. The maximum power of GV650PC can reach 52.8kw (8750r/min) and the maximum torque reaches 61.8N·m (7250r/min). The immense output is mildly transmitted to the rear wheel via the drive belt. After all, the engine was born out of a street bike, so the GV650PC feels a lot like a street bike, with engine roaring even up to 9000rpm. However, the engine sound is not as rhythmic as that of a traditional American cruiser.
GV650PC’s acceleration performance is good enough to dispel concerns about the high output rev. The initial torque output is abundant to easily move this big machine of more than 250kg, a steady stream of power output provides continuous pull, and the accelerating process is linear. The long wheelbase adds to the rider’s feeling of safety and confidence. The 0-60km/h acceleration time is 2.4s, and the 0-100km/h acceleration time is 4.8s. It only needs to be set in the 2nd gear to speed up to 100km/h. Its acceleration performance is comparable to that of the same displacement street bikes.

A big machine
GV650PC has its own appearance style. The overall tone is black. The burly body, with a bold two-in-one exhaust, looks not so approachable. However, the fuel tank, side plate, radiator shield, headlight, and the exhaust all present a rounded modeling, adding to the feeling of gentleness.
When you sit on this motorcycle, you will find the handling is actually flexible and comfortable. The handlebar is moved closer to the rider, and the pedals are moved backward, bringing a sportier riding position. The GV650PC is equipped with Timsun tires (front: 120/70-18; rear: 180/55-17), which ensures stability at curves–the maximum inclination of 40.4° makes GV650PC more of a sport cruiser.
The 2352mm long body, 1680mm wheelbase and 677mm seat height provide the rider with a sense of stability and peace of mind. Due to different engine characteristics, the GV650PC’s cruising comfort is not as good as that of a traditional American cruiser. Cruising in the 6th gear at 4000rpm to 5000rpm is comfortable, acceleration delays below 4000rpm, and greater vibration can be felt at the handlebar and pedals at above 600rpm. Therefore, the GV650PC is more suitable for riding with a sport bike’s passion.
The GV650PC also has strong braking equipment: front double opposite four-piston calipers with 300mm brake discs, rear 270mm brake discs for double piston calipers, and ABS. The front braking is linear and gives the rider positive feedback. The braking time from 60-0km/h is 2.1s with a braking distance of 16.4 meters. The shock absorption system consists of the front inverted 41mm fork and the rear pre-load adjustable double shock absorbers. The shock is not intended for comfort but provides good support and stability when riding at bends or across small bumps or applying emergency brake or rapid acceleration.
