Design concept

The Maxsym 400 inherits the essence of its predecessor and maintains the elegant look while incorporating more power and high-tech elements into the new version.

These changes come not only from the outside, but also from within the body and performance. The SYM R&D lab made further mechanical advances, building better suspension systems and improving mobility and agility. More thoughtful designs, such as keyless start and TCS (traction control systems), also highlight this new version.

Performance

Weight reduced by 18.5%

The frame is a bike’s main structure that supports the engine and provides space for steering and rear suspension. The SYM R&D center redesigned the frame, rearranged the engine, battery, and water tank, reducing the weight by 18.5% and increasing handling flexibility.

Roller rocker

Through mechanical improvement, Maxsym 400 can achieve better performance than its predecessor, such as reducing wear of parts, reducing heat generated from friction and unnecessary power dissipation. Fuel consumption has also decreased with this change.

New short exhaust pipe

This triangular tube is the shortest and lightest in the industry. At the same time, it complies with the Euro V standards, effectively reducing the unsprung mass to bring excellent dynamic response.

Redesigned air inlet system

Smooth airflow improves low-speed performance and meets Euro V standards. In addition, with the change of the frame design, the interior parts of this model have been rearranged. The compact air filter maximizes storage space under the seat.
