Collection of High-power Electric Motorcycles Launched by Chinese Enterprises in 2022
Swept by the global wave of motorcycle electrification, China’s major motorcycle brands have also launched their high-end electric motorcycle brands and main products. We have screened and introduce to you the most representative three Chinese motorcycle enterprises’ electric brands and products.
ZEEHO AE8
At the beginning of this year, ZEEHO, a high-end electric brand under CFMOTO, officially released its first mass-production electric motorcycle, the AE8, in two different versions: the standard version AE8 and the top-end version AE8S+. In June this year, AE8 had ABS, and the AE8+ had an advanced version.
It is claimed that the AE8 outperforms 300cc fuel scooters. Data show that the peak power of this mid-mounted water-cooled motor is 12.5kW, the wheel torque is 218N·m, the 0-50km/h acceleration time is 2.6s, and the top speed is 100km/h+. The AE8 is equipped with a 69V32Ah dual-lithium battery pack, which can be swapped and charged quickly. The NEDC is up to 120km.
Both AE8+ and AE8S+ are equipped with ABS. AE8S+ also adopts TFT full color screen and Brembo brake system, which are important factors driving its price above 20,000 yuan

BICOSE REAL 5T
As a high-end electric motorcycle brand owned by Loncin, BICOSE is positioned as a “technology-driven entertainment electric motorcycle brand”, focusing on the R&D and sales of high-end electric motorcycles.
BICOSE launched its first product, the Real 5T, in July this year. Real 5T inherits the design concept of Windynamic Style (Wind Rider aesthetics), aiming to “naturally go with the wind”. The good-looking body of Real 5T is sketched with flowing lines and curved surfaces. The levitating smart design creates a concise, powerful, scientific and aesthetic future melody.
The Real 5T is equipped with a mid-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor with a peak power of 12.0kW, wheel torque of 389N·m, 0-50km/h acceleration time of 2.6s and 0-80km/h acceleration time of 6.5s. The maximum speed is 115km/h, and the steady-state maximum speed is 105km/h. The total battery capacity is 89V54Ah, the NEDC under working condition is 150km, and the maximum range is up to 240km. The Real 5T comes in Ultra, PRO, and Standard versions. The most important differences with the Ultra are the 1.84 kilowatt quick charge port for direct charging from car charging piles, a quick charge gun that plugs into a household electric outlet, an automatic folding touch TFT meter, tire pressure monitoring, phone charging, front recorder, and built-in audio. The Standard version doesn’t have those configurations, and the Pro version lacks the TFT meter’s auto-folding, tire pressure monitoring, mobile phone charging, and mobile phone left-behind alert functions.
