The 2023 Chongqing CMPF Concludes with Great Success
On May 12th, 2023, the curtain fell on the 85th Spring National Motorcycle and Accessories Trade Fair (CMPF) held in Chongqing International Expo Center. The three-day event was a resounding success.
The trade fair unfolded across four pavilions – N5, N6, N7, and N8 of the Chongqing International Expo Center, spanning an impressive total area of nearly 50,000 square meters. With a record-setting 1,900 booths, over 1,000 domestic and international exhibitors participated, including UNIBEAR, CHOHO, MINDA, YONGCHI, OUTDO, SANYUAN, HFC, and more. These firms, which covered motorcycle and electric vehicle components such as chains, aluminum wheels, tires, instruments, lighting, batteries, and shocks, showcased their latest products. Amid a broadly positive economic outlook, the reopening of international air routes, and the industry’s steady recovery, this CMPF event reached its all-time peak in terms of scale and exhibitor participation, a milestone duly noted by MEGA CHINAMOTOR.
As the capital of motorcycle manufacturing, Chongqing holds a significant place in the national motorcycle industry. Its robust industrial base provided an excellent foundation for the successful execution of the trade fair. The motorcycle industry has always been a critical pillar of Chongqing’s economy, with motorcycle enterprises being among the most active entities in the private sector. As the largest motorcycle production base in the country, the motorcycle and accessories output in Chongqing accounts for over 30% of the national total.
This iteration of CMPF marked the seventh time the event was held in Chongqing. According to official CMPF data, the fair attracted 50,000 professional visitors, including over 5,000 international guests from countries and regions such as Italy, Brazil, India, Pakistan, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Nigeria.
The CMPF has played a pivotal role in revitalizing the post-pandemic motorcycle accessories industry and promoting foreign trade. The 86th Autumn CMPF is set to take place from November 6th to 8th, 2023, at the Poly World Trade Center Exhibition Hall. We look forward to reconvening in Guangzhou during the golden autumn season!
