Italy – Recently, KYMCO revealed 2020 flagship sport scooter AK550 in Italy. Compared with the 2018 model, this 2020 model mainly increases two color schemes and upgrades its engine, which makes a slight increase in its power performance with the maximum power up by 3hp and the highest speed up to 160km/h.

2020 AK550 still remains the appearance characters as before. The sharp head design brings you a very sporty visual effect.

All LCD instrument, noodoe system, all LED lighting, adjustable windscreen, large storage space under the seat, every equipment on the big luxury scooter you can imagine, AK550 has all of them. The excellent designs make AK550 be one of the top-level scooters.

Now, 2018 AK550 sold in the Chinese mainland meets the National IV emission standard. It carries a water-cooled, parallel twin, DOHC, 8-valve engine with the actual displacement of 550.44cc. Its maximum power reaches 39.3 kW（53.5Ps）/7500rpm and its maximum torque reaches 55.6Nm/5500rpm. (The parameters of 2020 model is still unknown.)

The light aluminium alloy frame is one of the main features of AK550, which ensures enough rigidity. AK550 is meticulously calculated the position of engine which not only makes a lower center of gravity but also makes the perfect weight distribution ratio of 50:50.
