2024 Dakar Rally: KOVE MOTO Shines in Stage1, Chinese Brand Secures Third Place!

On January 6, 2024, the first stage of the 2024 Dakar Rally roared to life. This inaugural stage covered a total distance of 541 kilometers, with an impressive 414 kilometers of special stages that twisted and turned around dormant volcanoes, presenting a formidable challenge to both riders and their vehicles.

In the field of fuel-powered motorcycles, Chinese brand KOVE MOTO made a remarkable entrance as the sole representative of China, showcasing the strength of Chinese motorcycle brands and products to the world.

KOVE MOTO assembled a team of six exceptional riders for this event. Factory team members included #29 Neels Theric, #60 Xavier Flick, and #81 Fang Xiangliang, who piloted the 450 RALLY FACTORY EDITION bikes, while #45 Sunier rode the 450 RALLY EX. Among the non-factory team members, #49 Cesare Zacchetti chose the 450RALLY FACTORY EDITION, and #89 Mason Klein took the reins of the 450RALLY EX.

After enduring rigorous tests and fierce competition, Mason Klein, riding the brand-new 450 Rally EX powered by KOVE’s in-house engine technology, ultimately secured an impressive third place in the stage. This achievement has added a significant chapter to the story of Chinese fuel-powered motorcycle brands in top-tier global events. We eagerly anticipate KOVE MOTO’s future performances in the upcoming stages of the competition!
