In his debut season in Moto2, Holgado started the thirteenth race of the season from pole position for the first time. The Spanish rider made a strong start, focusing on maintaining his position and maintaining a good pace to avoid falling behind his rivals. Throughout the race, Holgado remained in the top three, even trying to catch the winner, Moreira. However, given the high pace of the race, Holgado ultimately chose not to take excessive risks and remained steady, securing second place. The Spanish rider ultimately crossed the finish line in second place, finally achieving his first podium finish in the Moto2 class after several near-podium finishes. His teammate Alonso also had an outstanding performance in Austria. Starting from fifth on the grid, the Colombian rider raced unstoppably, climbing the order to eventually break into the top three. Alonso even tried to catch his teammate Holgado, but a crash with six laps remaining denied him another chance at a podium finish this season.

The Moto3 race at the Austrian Grand Prix also delivered a thrilling performance for the fans. The lightweight class kicked off a thrilling race, with Quiles as a key player. Starting from the second row, the rookie put in an impressive performance, taking the lead after the first lap. He handled the challenging race perfectly, maintaining his pace and creating as much of a gap as possible between himself and the other riders. Quiles briefly dropped to third, but he quickly recovered and regained the lead. Midway through the race, the Spanish rider was once again on pace, battling for another podium finish. However, a collision at the penultimate corner forced Quiles and another rider off the track, leaving him in fourth place, just 0.079 seconds behind the third-placed rider. Meanwhile, Foggia, who had been in the top five early in the race, was overtaken and fell out of the front group, forcing the Italian rider to adopt a new strategy to cope with the new situation. During this period, Foggia successfully led the second group, and although he fell behind a few places in the final laps, he fought back and finally crossed the finish line in fourth place. However, he was penalized for failing to complete the long lap in time, and his final ranking dropped to 13th.
