At the launch event, CFMOTO emphasized “SR” as the core of its racing DNA. Built around this key series, the brand introduced the all-new mid-displacement sportbike, the 500SR, with an official price of RMB 28,980 for the Chinese market. The model continues the brand’s family design language, featuring sharp, aggressive styling developed with the involvement of an Italian design team. The distinctive front lighting and upswept sport exhaust enhance its visual identity. In terms of craftsmanship, the upper triple clamp receives a more refined sandblasted finish, improving both tactile and visual quality, while the exhaust system undergoes multiple polishing and coating processes to enhance texture as well as long-term durability. The seat height is set at 805 mm, with an optimized seat profile to improve accessibility. Optional seat heights (815 mm and 795 mm) are also available, accommodating riders of different statures.

It delivers 58 kW at 12,500 rpm and 49 N·m at 10,000 rpm. CFMOTO has implemented multiple optimizations to key engine components and transmission details, enhancing both throttle response and overall stability—contributing to its recorded lap time of 1’08’’246 at Tianma Circuit during prior testing. The motorcycle adopts a chrome-molybdenum steel trellis frame, balancing weight control and structural rigidity.
