China–On the evening of January 23, the first mass-produced electric motorcycle AE8 under CFMoto’s high-end electric brand ZEEHO was officially released. It comes with two different versions: AE8S+ and AE8,with the official prices of 21,699 yuan and 18,999 yuan respectively.

The AE8 is designed to be as good as traditional fuel motorcycles in terms of control and power, and as easy and convenient as the high-end electric motorcycles on the market in terms of intelligent interconnection.

AE8 adopts a high-power water-cooled motor with a maximum power of 12.5kW and a maximum speed of 100km/h. It is equipped with Brembo calipers, 69V32Ah automotive-level high performance battery pack, dual hydraulic preload/multi-section adjustable rear shock absorber.

It provides three riding modes, namely Sport, Eco and Street, which strikes a balance between practical and sports riding demands and achieve individualized riding experience.

The motorcycle is equipped with an intelligent sensing system, which enables NFC unlocking, remote APP unlocking and unlocking via mobile phone sensing.

The major configuration difference between the two versions is that the high-end AE8S+ adopts a more advanced TFT LCD meter, and is equipped with MAXXIS semi-hot melt tires and more importantly ABS system.

Users will have the right of speech as for whether the road performance of this electric motorcycle can match the 300cc fuel motorcycles as officially claimed, and whether it has advantages compared with products like Niu’s NQi GT and Ninebot’s E200P?
