In November, due to the relatively severe epidemic, Chinese enterprises were greatly affected. The domestic and foreign demands decreased, and the sales of motorcycles fell. However, with the prevention and control of the epidemic, the production and living order are coming into recovery, and the market demand is expected to rise, which means the motorcycle industry will be stable and improved.

Production & sales

In November, the production and sales of the fuel motorcycles were 985,700 units and 962,700 units, with a month-on-month decrease of 11.07% and 11.57%, and a year-on-year decrease of 31.17% and 30.02%. The production and sales of electric motorcycles were 465,300 units and 450,000 units, with a month-on-month decrease of 6.64% and 2.73%, and a year-on-year decrease of 25.62% and 27.46%.

From January to November, the top ten enterprises (groups) in sales of fuel motorcycles were Dachangjiang, Loncin, Sundiro-Honda, Zongshen, Wuyang-Honda, Luoyang Northern, Dechengwei, Dayun, Tayo, and Qingqi Suzuki, which sold 1,770,900 units, 1,071,300 units, 847,800 units, 815,800 units, 639,000 units, 546,500 units, 525,800 units, 480,900 units, 420,000 units and 377,900 units, respectively.

Export

In November, Chinese motorcycle exports recorded 522,000 units, a month-on-month decrease of 9.76% and a year-on-year decrease of 35.3%. The export value was USD352 million, down by 9% month-on-month and 32.74% year-on-year.

From January to November, motorcycle manufacturers exported USD6.252 billion of products, down 4.99% year-on-year. The complete motorcycle export was 7,008,000 units, down 6.85% year-o-year; the export value was USD4.884 billion, down 6.85% year-on-year.

From January to November, the top ten enterprises in export volume were Loncin, Dachangjiang, Zongshen, Sundiro-Honda, Tayo, Lifan, Dayun, Dechengwei, Haojin, and Sanyang Motor, with a total export volumes of 4.0641 million units, accounting for 62.66% of the total motorcycle exports.
