Indonesian Media Visited Yadea’s Wuxi Base and Witnessed the Global Implementation of Its “Value Currency” Strategy
On August 15, a delegation of Indonesian mainstream media visited the Wuxi base of Yadea Technology Group. Focusing on the “value currency” strategy, they conducted an in-depth investigation into its intelligent manufacturing, core technology and global layout, and explored how Yadea attaches importance to productivity, technology, localization and service.
Yadea has 10 bases globally, spanning Indonesia, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Mexico, and Brazil, with 100 electric motorcycle assembly lines and a maximum annual production capacity of 30 million units. The Jinzhai base, Yadea’s largest global production base for high-end products, boasts an average daily production capacity of 15,000 units and an annual capacity exceeding 5 million units, producing an average of one electric vehicle every 25 seconds. With precise controls such as ±1°C temperature control and a 0.1‰ feeding error, Yadea achieves a first-pass qualification rate exceeding 99%, demonstrating its internationally advanced manufacturing capabilities. Furthermore, construction of its Karawang, Indonesia, plant began in May 2024, with an expected annual production capacity of 2 million units by 2026. This will become Yadea’s largest overseas production base and significantly enhance regional supply chain responsiveness.
In terms of technological research and development, Yadea showcased its Wuxi laboratory to Indonesian media. Its 51 sub-laboratories are capable of completing 220 component- and 41 vehicle-level tests. Its core technology, the TTFAR range-extending system, converts coasting and braking energy into electricity, effectively extending battery life. In response to the rainy and hot climate of the Indonesian market, Yadea has launched several models featuring key components that meet IPX7 waterproofing standards. The frame and other structures have undergone rust prevention and 300,000 vibration tests, significantly enhancing reliability. The company plans to achieve local production of over 80% of its products within three years. Yadea also offers Indonesian users industry-leading service guarantees, including a two-year warranty for graphene batteries, a three-year warranty for lithium batteries, a five-year warranty for the frame, and lifetime free vehicle inspections. A 700-square-meter after-sales warehouse has been established in Indonesia, stocking approximately 2,000 parts to ensure efficient supply.
Yadea’s Senior Vice President stated that the company will continue to expand its retail and service network in Indonesia, with the number of stores expected to exceed 200 by the end of the year, further improving its local support system. Leveraging its “value currency” strategy, Yadea is strengthening its global competitiveness through manufacturing upgrades, technological innovation, and service optimization, promoting the popularization of green travel and building a local ecosystem.
