Recently, we saw KOVE ’s new ADV model, KOVE 625X, in the latest batch of MIIT catalogs. The exposure of this model marks another important breakthrough for Chinese motorcycle brands in the middleweight motorcycle market.

KOVE 625X is positioned as an all-terrain two-wheeled motorcycle with a vehicle size of 2260×935×1395mm, showing a typical ADV body proportion. The 1470mm long wheelbase design is expected to bring better straight-line stability, and the combination of large-size tires-F: 110/80R19 and R: 150/70R17- also shows that it has excellent passing ability on both paved and unpaved roads. The vehicle is equipped with an engine model Z276MS, with an actual displacement of 580.7ml and a maximum power of 47kW, which is independently developed by KOVE. This power performance has already ranked among the mainstream levels of middleweight ADVs, and the maximum speed of 175km/h provides reliable guarantee for its long-distance cruising. The curb weight of the new vehicle is 229kg, and the total mass is 379kg, which belongs to the standard ADV level configuration. Equipped with ABS anti-lock braking system to further ensure riding safety.

As a new generation of middleweight ADV after KOVE 525X, 625X is expected to become the main force of KOVE in the mid-to-high-end market. From the data, it is benchmarked against models such as Honda CB500X, KTM 390 ADV, and CFMOTO 800MT, but with a more competitive price and a higher degree of localization, it may further enhance the recognition of Chinese ADVs in the minds of users. The application of KOVE 625X shows that Chinese motorcycle brands are constantly moving towards higher technical thresholds and stronger comprehensive performance.

MEGA CHINAMOTO will continue to pay attention to the vehicle’s launch time, price information and test drive performance, so please stay tuned for follow-up reports.
