China – News has it that NIU is providing the first batch electric scooters for the police of a city under the Belgian capital Brussels. The police electric scooter fleet consists of 15 NQi Pros.

According to the data from a foreign website, the NQi Pro is equipped with a 3000W motor and two sets of 60V35Ah batteries. Even on an uphill road, the speed can be maintained at 45km/h. The scooter is available in three riding modes, with a range of 120-150km.

In compliance with the official requirements, the body is provided with special police striped decals as well as police LED light bar and alarm. Besides, the NQi Pro is equipped with a thicker saddle, USB outlet, windshield and a 46L splash proof, waterproof tail box, to better serve the police.

Although the demand of the police market is relatively small compared with the broad civilian market, electric scooter brands such as NIU are still actively launching police models. Police models have a good publicity effect, in the meantime, the brand can establish a good interactive relationship with the police to enhance the favorable impression of the competent authorities on the product, which will help promote the development of electric two-wheelers.

With the gradual development of electric two-wheelers, CFMOTO has launched the high-performance domestic 300GT-E police electric motorcycle last year. In the near future, the domestic police two-wheeled vehicle market will gradually have more electric products.
