Backed by Geely and Qianjiang Group, QJMOTOR has released many models since its establishment, including street bikes, sport models, rally bikes, cruisers and retro models with displacement also ranging from 125cc to 750cc to meet the needs of different people.
As QJMOTOR’s first scooter, Portofino 125’ streamlined body shows a retro European style. For this small scooter, it is compact and full of aesthetic feeling. From the front, the polygonal headlight and daytime running lamp present a “youthful” retro stance. Riding it in the prosperous city, it can show your cycling charm.
The elliptic meter makes the central control more compact, matching with the layout of the handlebar, which looks very simple and elegant. Comparing with other scooter, it look more delicate.
Portofino 125 is designed to have independent buttons and a flameout switch. Comparing with flameout by directly turning the key, pressing button is much easier and more convenient.
The base of handlebar switches is made of aluminum alloy, which is unprecedented in the same level. This design increase cost but improves durability and quality. QJMOTOR is much concerned about the user experience and the whole design.
Portofino 125 features a dual-throttle design to have better control and increased service life of the throttle.
It has a pointer+LCD instrument system, clearly showing the rev, speed, fuel level, time and distance, with other signals of turning indicator, fault light, high/low beam.
Portofino 125 adopts keyless startup design, but it also has a mechanical key.
With a seat height of 755mm, Portofino 125 is suitable for riders taller than 1.5m. The cushion is comfortable. The segmented design on the cushion surface is not only good-looking but also skid proof.
The rear aluminum armrest is beautiful and practical. Its concave design greatly improves the grasping feeling, which makes the passenger grasp firmly.
The fuel tank has a capacity of 4.6L, enough for the city commuting. There is large room under the seat to hold a half-face helmet. The left and right sides are designed with symmetrical storage space.
Portofino 125 has a flat floor that is fitted with an anti-slip rubber pad whose actual antiskid function is very good.
Portofino 125 is also equipped with the flameout-on-side support function to prevent the risk of misoperation. The aluminum alloy pedals can be folded, which can avoid damaging the pedal when falling accidentally.
It adopts LED lights to provide better illumination at night. The bike body is inlaid with turn light, which is an ornament to the whole bike. The square-shaped taillight has a good warning effect.
The front 100/90-12 and rear 110/90-12 tires are Cheng Shin vacuum tires.
Portofino 125 has front disc and rear drum brakes, providing linear brake handling and moderate force. The braking effect is excellent in the actual ride.
It is equipped with an actual 124cc air-cooled two-valve engine, with a maximum power of 6.3kW/7,500rpm and a maximum torque of 9N.m/6,000rpm. It is a stable and mature engine and is designed with pulse ignition, which provides you quiet and instant startup and small vibration.
Portofino 125 provides a good riding posture, and is particularly suitable for urban female users and the younger generation.
Conclusion: with the popular urban retro appearance, Portofino 125 stands out from the great number of scooters. With superior equipment, riding quality and convenience, it is a beautiful and really practical scooter.
