Street, QJMotor Rino 900 ADV: the new Chinese three-cylinder maxi-trail motorcycle targeting Europe in 2026

by André Lecondé | December 18, 2025
With the Rino 900 ADV, QJMotor isn’t simply launching a new model; the Chinese brand is making an ambitious technological and stylistic leap to directly challenge the highly competitive large adventure touring segment. This project, long developed in the secrecy of the design offices, marks a break with the current SRT range and aims to establish a new standard for the manufacturer.
QJEngine is about to take a major step forward in the world of adventure motorcycling with the Rino 900 ADVThis model represents far more than a simple evolution of the product range. It signifies a true change of scale for the brand, both technically and symbolically. New inline three-cylinder engine, design openly inspired by Italian motorcycle culture and positioning clearly superior to the SRT family: the message is crystal clear. QJEngine no longer wants just to participate, but to exist sustainably in the intermediate premium Adventure segment.
This project didn’t happen overnight. For several months, signs had been multiplying behind the scenes. Recently filed patents have confirmed that the Chinese manufacturer was working on a new three-cylinder platform, with unexpected technical choices for a player still perceived as “emerging” on the European market.
Among them is an automated transmission system incorporating separate actuators for clutch and gear selection, demonstrating a clear willingness to explore advanced technological solutions, rather than simply relying on tried-and-tested, low-cost methods.
But it is perhaps in the field of design that the Rhino 900 ADV What’s most surprising is the style. It contrasts sharply with the functional, sometimes austere, aesthetic of certain Asian models. Here, the lines are taut, assertive, almost emotional. The very name of the model—Rino, the rhinoceros—evokes robustness, quiet power, and endurance, while also subtly echoing the great European icons of adventure.
A deliberate nod, reinforced by the fact that the logo and visual identity were entrusted to C-Creative, a studio founded by designers from major Italian brandsChance clearly has no place in this project.

The technological revolution: a three-cylinder engine and an automated transmission from QJMotor
From a technical standpoint, the new inline three-cylinder engine is more than just another engine in the range. It’s designed as a structural element of the chassis, directly contributing to the motorcycle’s rigidity and overall balance. The philosophy is well-established in this segment: smooth acceleration, generous mid-range torque, and just enough sportiness to make riding engaging without sacrificing long-distance comfort. Around this mechanical heart, QJEngine designed a coherent chassis package, combining aluminium and suspensions calibrated for versatile use, equally at home on asphalt and on tracks.
Finally, the equipment seems to be one of the strongest arguments of the Rhino 900 ADVMixed-size spoked wheels, high-end braking, adjustable ergonomics, and a full suite of electronic features paint the picture of a true adventure tourer, designed for long and long journeys. Color TFT screen, full LED lighting, cruise control, protections and tourism-oriented details confirm that QJEngine aims for standards that are now essential in the European market.
With Rhino 900 ADV, the Chinese brand sends a clear signal: it is no longer content with offering an aggressive price/equipment ratio, it now seeks to attract customers through design, technology and the overall credibility of the product.
If the promises are kept once the motorcycle is on the road, this model could well become an important milestone in the European expansion strategy of QJEngine — and a serious reminder that adventure is no longer an exclusively European or Japanese territory.
