On July 10,  TAILG’s Huizhou manufacturing base officially passed the evaluation of the China Quality Certification Center and was awarded the first “zero-carbon factory” certification in the electric two-wheeled vehicle industry. This milestone achievement marks that China’s electric two-wheeled vehicle manufacturing industry has officially entered a new “zero-carbon” era, contributing a Chinese solution to global green travel.

The certification is based on the T/CECA-G0171-2022 “Zero Carbon Factory Evaluation Specification” standard, which requires strict assessment of the factory’s energy management, resource utilization, product carbon footprint, etc. TAILG Huizhou Base passed the assessment and achieved 100% carbon neutrality in electricity energy through emission reduction measures such as a 12.18 MW rooftop photovoltaic power generation system, and was ultimately rated as a Type I five-star zero carbon factory.

Yao Li, president of TAILG, said that this achievement demonstrates the company’s determination to respond to the country’s “dual carbon” strategy, and that Huizhou will be used as a model to promote the zero-carbon transformation of global production bases in the future. At the same time, Huang Xinyu, director of the Shenzhen branch of the China Quality Certification Center, commented that TAILG’s major move has set a new benchmark for green manufacturing in the industry, and expressed the hope that it will continue to deepen green practices and lead the industry’s sustainable development.

This certification not only demonstrates TAILG’s technical strength in the field of sustainable development, but also provides a replicable practical example for the green transformation of China’s manufacturing industry, and demonstrates the influence of Chinese electric two-wheeled vehicle companies in the global green travel field.
