The 127th Canton Fair Will Not Be Held As Scheduled
Canton Fair, an important platform for China’s foreign trade and opening up, is well known as the “barometer” of China’s foreign trade. On 23rd March, press office of Guangdong government held a conference, at which they notified the COVID-19 epidemic situation and their work of prevention and control.
At this conference, the deputy director-general of provincial department of commerce Ma Hua expressed that in consideration of the global epidemic development trend, especially the high risk of imported cases, the 127th (Spring) Canton Fair is confirmed not to be held on 15th April as scheduled. And then, Guangdong will assess the epidemic situation comprehensively and actively make a proposal to the relevant department.
