The Vietnamese Prime Minister Met with YADEA Executives, China-Vietnam Green Travel Cooperation Reached A New Level
On August 31, 2025, while attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit and visiting China, Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with Wang Jiazhong, Senior Vice President of YADEA Technology Group, in Shanghai. The two sides had in-depth discussions on further expanding YADEA’s investment in Vietnam and deepening local cooperation. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh fully affirmed YADEA’s global leadership in green mobility and welcomed its continued participation in Vietnam’s electric motorcycle industry and supporting services.
This meeting not only marks a significant milestone in YADEA’s globalization strategy but also demonstrates the Vietnamese government’s commitment to the green transportation transition. Pham Minh Zheng noted that YADEA has played a significant role in promoting the green mobility revolution and encouraged the company to increase investment in Vietnam, particularly in areas such as technology research and development, industrial chain collaboration, and job creation. YADEA has already established a production base in Vietnam and plans to build a smart factory with an annual production capacity of 2 million units and a Southeast Asia R&D center by 2023, significantly enhancing its localized operations and innovation capabilities.
Coinciding with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam, this high-level meeting serves as another example of the deepening economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. With its solid industrial investment and localization strategy, YADEA has become a representative enterprise in China-Vietnam green production capacity cooperation.
YADEA’s expansion into Vietnam is not only a response to local green economy policies, but also a testament to the internationalization of China’s intelligent manufacturing standards. As new national standards drive domestic industrial upgrades, leading companies are expected to bring higher-standard products and services to the world, further solidifying China’s global leadership in electric mobility.
In the future, as the “motorcycle ban” policy is promoted in Vietnam and other countries, and the global demand for green travel continues to grow, Chinese companies represented by YADEA are expected to deeply participate in the global low-carbon transformation of transportation through technological cooperation and joint capacity construction, and achieve a two-way approach to Chinese standards and the world market.
