VOGE CU625 Automatic Officially Launched in the Chinese Market, Priced at RMB 26,980

On January 16, VOGE officially introduced the CU625 Automatic to the Chinese market. The model carries an official list price of RMB 27,980; however, from now until February 28, 2026, customers can benefit from a limited-time purchase incentive offering RMB 1,000 off, bring the effective retail price down to RMB 26,980. As a mid-to large-displacement automatic cruiser, the launch of the CU625 Automatic further enriches the product lineup of China’s automatic motorcycle segment.

In terms of power system, the CU625 Automatic is equipped with a KEV600 V-twin engine with an actual displacement of 578cc, delivering a maximum output of 45kW at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 61N·m at 5,500 rpm, with a compression ratio of 12:1. Paired with a Bosch electronic fuel injection system and intelligently calibrated shift logic, the engine offers smoother and more linear power delivery while maintaining both ease of use and the performance expected of a mid-to large-displacement motorcycle. The motorcycle features a long 2,315 mm wheelbase, reflecting the substantial proportions typical of cruiser models.

The core highlight of the new model lies in its AMT system. The CU625 Automatic adopts a dual-control-unit architecture, with the ECU and TCU working in real-time coordination to synchronize engine and transmission operation. Shift response time is as quick as 120 ms. Based on simulation-based calculations, the shift rpm range has been specifically tailored for the large-displacement engine, prioritizing smoothness and refinement under light throttle, while delivering more direct torque output under heavier throttle inputs. This results in more precise power control and smarter shifting behavior.

From a practicality standpoint, the CU625 Automatic is equipped with the industry’s first AMT system featuring a built-in creeping mode. When starting off or decelerating to around 10 km/h, the system automatically engages creeping mode to maintain steady low-speed movement; applying throttle or braking will immediately disengage the function. This feature effectively reduces the need for frequent braking and minimizes the risk of stalling in congested urban traffic, significantly easing the riding workload during daily commutes.

In terms of safety, the CU625 Automatic incorporates technology optimized for cornering scenarios. When the motorcycle’s lean angle exceeds 20 degrees, the system automatically locks the current gear to prevent unnecessary shifting. With a lean-response time of just 0.05 seconds, the system enhances stability and rear-wheel grip while cornering, offering increased confidence and safety for both novice and experienced riders.

The model offers three riding modes: D (Normal automatic mode), DS (Sport automatic mode), and M (Manual mode). D mode focuses on relaxed, stress-free automatic riding; DS mode raises shift points to deliver more aggressive throttle response and stronger acceleration; while M mode enables manual gear changes via paddle shifters, catering to riders who seek greater involvement and control.

In terms of equipment, the CU625 Automatic is fitted with a TFT high-definition instrument display. Automatic headlights adjust on and off in response to ambient lighting conditions, while a real-time tire pressure monitoring system continuously tracks tire status. In addition, the model features optimized thermal management, enabling reduced idle temperatures in hot conditions, with perceived leg heat lowered by up to approximately 25℃. The suspension system has also been structurally refined to reduce vibration and enhance comfort during long-distance rides.

Visually, the CU625 Automatic is available in two color options—Black and Gray—continuing the solid, muscular design language characteristic of cruiser motorcycles.

According to official data, cumulative sales of the CU625 series have surpassed 10,000 units since its market launch in May 2025. The introduction of the CU625 Automatic marks another step in VOGE’s expansion within the mid- to large-displacement automatic motorcycle segment, while also reflecting the growing demand in the Chinese market for high-displacement motorcycles that are easier to ride and operate.
