Yingang Motorcycle Exports Soared 132%, and Launched a New Brand Ural Neo in Cooperation with Ural
Good news from Yingang! From January to May 2025, the total export value of Yingang Motorcycle reached RMB 150 million, a year-on-year increase of 132%. At the same time, Yingang reached a strategic cooperation with the legendary Russian brand Ural (also known as IMZ-Ural). The two parties will jointly launch a new brand Ural Neo. The first cooperative model Neo 500 is scheduled to be officially unveiled in 2026.
Ural is one of the world’s most representative three-wheeled motorcycle manufacturers. It has produced more than 3 million vehicles so far, and its sales network covers more than 40 countries around the world. Its classic sidecar motorcycle model Gear Up is priced at up to $19,999. Although it has a unique brand tone and high recognition, its popularity in the mass consumer market is limited. The Neo 500, which was created in cooperation with Yingang, is expected to have a starting price of less than $15,000, which greatly reduces its entry threshold and allows more consumers to experience the unique charm of sidecar motorcycles.
Neo 500 will be redesigned based on Yingang’s SUV500 Mk II, removing the adventure elements, strengthening the classic Ural style, and incorporating modern technology. It is revealed that the car will be equipped with a 446cc parallel twin-cylinder engine with a maximum power of about 35 horsepower (about 26 kW) and a 5.3 gallon (about 20 L) fuel tank. The chassis continues to use the front link suspension, and the configuration may include a 7-inch longitudinal TFT instrument and a built-in 1080p driving recorder that is relatively rare in the European and American markets.
Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Chongqing, China, Yingang Group is a national high-tech enterprise integrating the research and development, manufacturing and sales of motorcycles, electric vehicles, engines and mechanical products. In recent years, Yingang has actively expanded its overseas markets, and its export performance has continued to be strong. Its main markets cover Russia, the Philippines, Thailand, Brazil, Colombia and other countries.
The launch of Ural Neo marks the starting point of the modernization and rejuvenation of the Ural brand, and also represents the deep integration of Chinese manufacturing and global classic brands. As the global motorcycle industry moves towards a new stage of intelligence and diversification, this cooperation will not only bring users more cost-effective and design-oriented three-wheel solutions, but also set a new benchmark for international brand cooperation.
