2024 EUROBIKE Concludes: Technology and Innovation Take Center Stage
On July 7th, the 2024 EUROBIKE successfully concluded at the Frankfurt Exhibition Center. Celebrating its 32nd year, EUROBIKE attracted 1,800 exhibitors from 69 countries, showcasing their latest products and technologies over a 150,000-square-meter indoor and outdoor exhibition space.
According to the official EUROBIKE website, among these 1,800 exhibitors, Chinese participants numbered 681 (excluding Chinese companies participating as European entities), accounting for 37.8% of the total exhibitors. This includes 401 companies from mainland China, 265 from Taiwan China, and 15 from Hong Kong China. Major brands such as Giant, Merida, Phoenix, Forever, Codifice, JSL, Jobo (European company), and Suntide (Portuguese company: sangal) displayed their new bicycles. Leading component manufacturers like Bafang and Shengyi also showcased their latest products.
Notably, DJI, a global leader in drone technology, unveiled the Avinox Drive System equipped with the new Amflow PL at EUROBIKE. This groundbreaking e-bike drive system promises to redefine the electric mountain bike (eMTB) experience, offering unmatched power, endurance, and smart features. The Avinox system received the “Winner” award in the components category from the 2024 EUROBIKE jury, marking another milestone in DJI’s technological advancements.
Additionally, while distributing the MEGA YEARBOOK magazine at the event, we noticed increasingly lightweight mountain bikes, differentiated e-bikes, and more versatile cargo bikes on display, adding to the innovative spirit of the 2024 EUROBIKE.
According to official EUROBIKE data, the event, which ran from July 3rd to 7th, attracted 35,080 professional visitors (2023: 34,750) and 33,090 bicycle enthusiasts (2023: 31,840). Among them, 35% of the professional visitors came from non-European countries, indicating an unprecedented level of internationalization for this year’s event.
EUROBIKE organizers emphasized the show’s role as a crucial platform for bicycles and future ecological transportation, as well as an important economic driver. Under the hopeful slogan “Hello Future, Hello Transformation,” the event featured 14 professional conferences and numerous social activities, fostering deeper exchanges and inspiring new ideas. EUROBIKE is actively promoting the shift of bicycles from recreational products to a core pillar of sustainable transportation.
The 33rd EUROBIKE is scheduled to take place from June 25th to 29th, 2025, at the Frankfurt Exhibition Center. “Despite this year’s competition with major events like the European Football Championship, U.S. Independence Day, and the Tour de France, we will return to our usual June timeframe in 2025,” said Stefan Reisinger, a representative of the event organizers.
As in previous years, the first two days of the 2025 event will be reserved for professional visitors, while the weekend festivities will be open to all attendees. EUROBIKE 2025 will continue to lead industry trends and promote the sustainable development of bicycles and related industries. Through continuous innovation and exchange, this global event is not only a platform for showcasing new products and technologies but also a vital bridge for connecting industry insiders and outsiders, inspiring future development. We look forward to more surprises and breakthroughs at EUROBIKE 2025.
