Changzhou KYMCO Confirms Mass Production Of Electric Street Bike—F9
China – At the end of last year, Taipei KYMCO released the world’s first two-stage automatic transmission electric model—F9.
Lightweight design of F9 is based on the heavy street bike SuperNEX, fusing the genes of sports bike and street bike. It has avant-garde design, lightweight body, excellent acceleration and maneuverability, which is an electric street bike that can inspire young rider’s adrenaline in this new generation.
F9 is equipped with a 9.4kW motor, whose acceleration from 0 to 50km/h only takes 3s and can reach a top speed of 110km/h. Its performance exceeds the 150cc fuel scooter. Under European NEDC’s standard of endurance, it can provide a cruising range of 120km.
Besides, F9 is equipped with the world’s first ATS two-stage automatic transmission, which, in addition to improving acceleration and energy efficiency, adds a unique beauty to the vehicle’s mechanical structure with the exposed design that configured on the rear axle deliberately.
F9 is the hardest manifestation of speed and attitude and a carrier that interprets youth, technology, vitality and freedom. Once released, it has gained the love of a large number of fans. KYMCO Group has made a decision that F9 will be jointly developed by Changzhou KYCMO and FELO-EV, the KYMCO capital investment enterprise. In the future, according to the needs of the market, different power and endurance models of F9 will also be launched.
