Recently, CoCo’s new product release conference was held in Jialing’s Chongqing factory, the release conference was in the form of online live broadcast.

CoCo is a high-end motorcycle brand newly launched by Jialing Group. Relying on the strong market foundation and technical advantages of Jialing brand, Coco strives to create recreational motorcycles to meet the market demand for small boutique motorcycles and be a pioneer in this field.

Since its establishment on June 11, 2022, CoCo has formed three product series represented by CoCo Cub (retro recreational cub), CoCo Pony (classic standard bike) and CoCo Cat (recreational scooter). It is expected to launch 25 products in the coming years. This new product release is a supplement to CoCo’s product lines.

CoCo released four new products at the conference, the Cross 125X of the Cub series, the Pony 150F, Pony CD Classic and Pony CD Scrambler. CoCo’s products speak for themselves. It greatly enriches consumers’ choice of mall displacement motorcycles.

Cross 125X–suit the city and nature

Cross 125X is officially priced at 8980 yuan. It is a model derived from CoCo Cub family, which is optimized for non-pavement and practicality, and can better meet the complex needs of urban youth for multi-purpose use, bringing pure fun for the rider.

A motorcycle is not only a tool, but also a big toy. In addition to daily transport, Cross 125X is functionally enhanced for camping and cross-country use. The rear rack is enlarged to an overall size of 480*410mm.

For non-paved road passability, Cross 125X is fitted with front 18″ and rear 16″ hard spokes, and front 31mm-diameter vertical and rear airbag shocks, with a ground clearance of 185mm. Cross 125X is still easy to ride with a 750mm height and 106kg curb weight.

To ensure the body strength and ride quality, Cross 125X uses a rare steel-tube bibeam frame. Compared to the backbone frame, it significantly improves rigidity and torsion-resistance for both single riding or carrying luggage, on tarmac roads and forest paths. The reinforced 60*40mm rear flat fork brings excellent riding experience.

In terms of power, Cross 125X is equipped Jialing’s own 125cc engine, standard automatic clutch, with the peak power of 7.5kw and the peak torque of 9.5N.m. The engine has built-in double overhead camshaft and balance shaft, making high-speed riding more smooth and reducing daily vibration. With the high-position intake, Cross 125X has a theoretical safe fording depth of 500mm. Supported by a 9L fuel tank, the actual range is close to 400km.

Pony 150F–create dynamic life experience

The official guide price of Pony 150F is 10,680 yuan. The Pony 150F also debuted at the CoCo launch event half a year ago. It is positioned to be trendy and retro, and is optimized specifically for urban riding. It not only meets the mobility demand but also greatly expands the sports performance.

The Pony 150F takes the Italian modern retro elements as the core design concept, creating simple, streamlined and elegant body lines. The air-cooled engine and steel-tube structure highlight the retro style, with round LED headlight and LCD instrument adding to the Italian flavour.

To enhance sporty performance, the Pony 150F uses the shock absorbrs common in 250cc sports models. The inverted front shock effectively reduces the unsprung mass, and the control is more sensitive. The central rear shock improves riding stability. The wing-shaped rear flat fork achieves the best balance between light weight and high rigidity.

Pony 150F is equipped with an air-cooled engine with actual displacement of 150cc, peak power of 9.5kw and peak torque of 13N.m. It has built-in double overhead camshaft and balance shaft. The double exhausts intensify sports features.

In addition to the standard front and rear disc brakes, the Pony 150F is equipped with dual-channel ABS, which can be turned off separately.

Pony CD classic/scrambler versions– combine art and personality

The Pony CD series has classic and scrambler versions. The classic version is further divided into 70cc and 125cc models with an official guide price of 5,970 yuan and 6,780 yuan, respectively. The scrambler version has a 125cc engine and an official guide price of 7,380 yuan.

CHINAMOTOR, Pony CD classic versions

The Pony CD classic version is a retro model derived from the classic Jialing 70. While continuing the classic frame structure of Jialing 70, the whole motorcycle has been upgraded from the backbone frame to the current cradle frame, with significant improvement in material thickness and rigidity. All parts have also been redesigned and moulded. In addition to the new moulded stainless-steel exhaust, the water-drop fuel tank, round headlight, and shock absorber on the Jialing 70 re-appears on the Pony CD classic version.

It carries Jialing’s mature 70 and 125 horizontal engine platforms. The peak power of the 70 platform is 3.5kw/8000rpm, and the peak torque is 4.5N.m/6000rpm. The 125 platform generates a peak power of 6.2kw/7000rpm and peak torque of 9.2N.m/5000rpm, both matched with an automatic clutch. While maintaining the classic appearance, the Pony CD classic version has much upgrades, such as the round LCD instrument and two-piston disc brake calipers. In addition, it has two cushion options.

The Pony CD scrambler version is positioned for real cross-country ride. In addition to the high fender, chassis protection plat, and all-terrain tires, it has plenty of hardware for non-paved road purpose. First, it features front 18-inch and rear 17-inch spoked hubs. The shock travel and strength are extended by 30% and 40%, respectively, to better withstand bumps on non-paved roads. The ground clearance reached 230mm while the seat height is still maintained at 790mm. The curb weight is 89kg.

In addition to the above new products, CoCo showed photos of three new models: the Cat family’s first ADV scooter Cat 150ADV, the Cub family’s latest work, upgraded Super CoCo, and the Pony family’s Pony CD cafe version.

CoCo has showed its determination to take roots in the small displacement market. CoCo responds to the expectations of the market and consumers with well-built products. With affordable prices and sound product lines, CoCo will eventually gain an indispensable name among riders.
