China – Recently, Dachangjiang (Haojue) Group and YADEA Technology Group announced the establishment of their joint venture, Ai Huan Huan Energy (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (“AHH”). With the world-leading smart battery swap system of Gogoro Network, AHH will provide battery swap services for electric motorcycles, electric mopeds and electric bicycles. As a leading smart energy mobility service company, AHH, based on forward-looking energy and digital technology innovation, will directly address the pain points of current electric two-wheelers, such as slow and inconvenient charging, and provide more efficient and sustainable two-wheeler mobility services for urban residents, promoting the coordinated development of green economy and smart city and creating a new era of two-wheeler mobility in China.

With the government’s greater emphasis on green development and support for new forms of business such as shared mobility, China’s electric two-wheeler market is stepping into a “battery swap era”. Consumers in general have major concerns for electric two-wheelers, such as range anxiety and charging difficulties. To address these pain points, Dachangjiang Group, one of China’s leading motorcycle manufacturers, and YADEA Technology Group, a world-renowned leader in the electric two-wheeler industry, have jointly invested 320 million yuan ($50 million) to set up Ai Huan Huan Energy (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Mr. Wang Zhihua, who has rich experience in the field of technology and communication, is appointed as the general manager to lead the business operations of AHH, including branding, sales, marketing, R&D, production and after-sales.
