Recently, the 2019 NIU new product launch event, themed on “ A NIU WAY FORWARD”, was held in Beijing. At the event, two new electric scooters U+ and US, which are developed in accordance with the new national standard, were released. The two new products are equipped with the fourth-generation NIU Energy™ AI li-ion battery technology. In addition, the event also launched its new category — professional sports bike brand NIU AERO.

NIU Energy™ AI li-ion battery enabling long cruising range

The fourth generation of NIU Energy™ AI li-ion battery pioneered the overall research and design concept, breaking the li-ion battery performance silo, making use of the system compatibility technology and smart charging technology to let the lithium battery, Cloud-ECU and power pack of the vehicle work closely together and improving the performance indicators of lithium battery. Compared with ordinary lithium battery, the battery pack of NIU Energy™ AI lithium battery can increase the cruising range by 7%, the service life by 100%, and the power by 50%. It also features better anti-theft performance.

Following the family design aesthetic, small space reflecting obvious design advantages

As the new products of U series, the NIU U+ and US inherit the family design language of U series from exterior to body structure design. Simplicity, fashion and highly recognizable angel eye light add to the fashion and personality of riding. The ergonomic design makes the overall appearance and riding experience much better.

The professional sports bike brand NIU AERO launched

The new category NIU AERO is divided into two series, ROAD and MTBX, which are positioned as professional sports bicycles and built on three core technologies, namely, aerodynamics, carbon fiber lightweight technology, and smart cycling equipment.

Following the idea of aero dynamic design, NIU AERO takes aerodynamics as a belief. AERO FORCE, AIRFIN, AERO MAX, AERO BRIDGE, FULL INTERNAL CABLE create new tube, aerodynamic fin surface, balance the aerodynamic and force, and give attention to both power and stability. The inside wiring is only made for better aerodynamic. With the additional equipment of HYPER CARBON T800 & M40 mix-woven carbon fiber technology, Shimano Dura Ace R9150 Di2 electronic transmission kit and others, it creates a lighter, more agile and more efficient cycling experience.
