Not long ago, YADEA launched the activity of “new national standard EV challenges 140km’s cruising distance” in Nanjing, witnessing the record-breaking cruising distance of 143.7 km.

A full charge: 143.7km’s cruising distance, remaining 25% battery capacity

After the launching ceremony, six riders started from YADEA’s Dongshan store (in Jiangning District of Nanjing), riding three Cool-Ks and three Cool-Js. The ride passed through several landmarks of Nanjing and had crossed the Nanjing Yangtze River bridge, to arrive at the one-way terminal 70km away. After a short rest, they rode back toward the starting place, strictly following the speed requirement of the new national standard of no higher than 25km/h. Among them, the new national standard scooter, Cool-J, which carries a PHYLION 4828 module, successfully passed 140km (finally reaching 143.7km), while the instrument showed that the battery still has 25% residual.

Restoring real-life riding, setting a new record of 143.7km on urban road

During the riding, the six riders and the YADEA scooters encountered extreme road conditions. More than half of the 140-kilometer journey was passing the downtown and old city areas. The downtown road conditions were complicated, with more than 190 traffic lights, and the team happened to ride into the peak commuting hours. In addition, there were many uphill sections, which adds difficulty to the already stop-and-go riding.

Such extreme road conditions speed up the consumption of power and require higher performance of the motor and controller. However, to restore the real scene of users’ daily travel, YADEA resolutely chose such a route, thus, the tested data had a higher reference value. YADEA finally achieved a new record of 143.7km, which proves that YADEA scooter carries highly capable battery and the electronic control system is perfectly adjusted.
