CHINA – Not only has the displacement upgraded, but also the configuration of the 150cc scooter. YAMAHA NMAX155 has upgraded the TCS, and HONDA PCX150 has also upgraded to the new PCX160 which is equipped with ABS and TCS. Although the displacement of these two bikes is slightly over 150cc, but they cannot be ignored in the 150cc scooter level.

The engine is one of the most important parts of the bike. As a domestic engine supplier Zongshen Power also seems to see this business opportunity and has released the 4 valves SOHC EFI 150cc side water-cooled scooter engine G150S.

This engine is developed jointly by Zongshen and Piaggio. The G150S has a maximum power of 11.5kW (15.6PS) and a maximum torque of 14.5N·m, slightly better than most of the current 150cc engines.

G150S adopts the integral cylinder head, eccentric crankshaft, lightweight piston, secondary oil filtration, roller rocker and so on. It is also equipped with silent start, auto-start and stop and other functions which is suitable for a variety of frames and rims.
