China – The China Patent Award is the highest patent award in China jointly sponsored by the China Intellectual Property Administration and the World Intellectual Property Organization. It is the only governmental award specially awarded to the inventions granted with patent rights in China and is recognized by the World Intellectual Property Organization. Technological innovation ability is an important scale to evaluate the core competitiveness of enterprises. Recently, the China Intellectual Property Administration published the winner list of the 23rd China Patent Award. Guangzhou Sanya Motorcycle Co., Ltd. is on the list with its invention patent of a central balance engine.

“A central balance engine” (National Invention Patent No. : ZL201410766054.9), this patent is mainly applied to Sanya’s NF series engines. The patent is based on the enterprise’s numerous times of research and test after redesigning the crank connecting rod and left crankshaft box to optimize the crank connecting rod and bearing push bolt, reduce vibration, improve riding comfort, and effectively prolong the service life of bearing.

The patented technology will bring “small vibration, low fuel consumption, strong durability” engines, which is fully in line with the company’s “innovation, energy saving, save more limited resource saving, and construction of a green earth” vision. Since it foundation, Sanya has adhered to its industry positioning, and actively advocated the concept of environmental protection and energy saving. Energy-saving has always been the company’s core development strategy throughout Sanya’s operations and product development.

Sanya has established a recognized “energy-saving motorcycle engineering technology research center”, “provincial enterprise technology center”, and “provincial industrial design center”.

This is the first time that Sanya won the national patent award, which give a fillip to Sanya’s technology research and development.
