KYMCO Unveiled New Xciting S400
China – Kymco unveiled its new Xciting S400 TCS, which is still priced at 59,980 yuan.
The biggest change was the addition of TCS. When previously adding TCS to the Taiwan version of Xciting S400, the mainland version still did not have it, but there is now. The TCS can be activated or switched off according to the user’s riding habits. When there is too much power during the start/acceleration process that leads to tire skidding, the TCS intervention can reduce skidding.
The headlight and taillights are highly recognisable, as has always been the case with Kymco’s scooters. Dynamic and streamlined LED headlight delineate a charming and fierce style for the whole vehicle. High-brightness LED taillight bar improves vehicle identification on the road.
The symmetrical LED instrument design remains unchanged, with a central Noodoe Internet of Vehicles system, a mechanical tachometer on the left and a LCD showing other information on the right.
An ergonomic two-piece cushion is designed. One of the biggest problems with the Xciting S400 was the bucket space, which could only hold a full-face helmet considering such a big body.
The suspension and braking systems are unchanged, with parking brake (handbrake) function. Keyless start is still not available. The front two glove boxes have plenty of space, and the windshield is manually adjusted.
The Xciting S400 TCS comes in white, black, silver, and dark blue.
